Nice camera good features. Cameras has been running for 3 weeks at 98% battery life. I will do a follow up when I have to recharge it. The app was easy to install and setup. QR code on booklet. Setup up in a few minutes. Has hardware to install & mount. Screws, anchors and mount. I don’t recommend screwing it down until you tested and used it to confirm that’s the location you want. Then anchor it. The battery does last forever. Mine has been running for 3 weeks still at 98%. App was easy to install/setup. Recalling video and events is easy to view. You will need a microSD card to record. Sharp image for price point of camera. Water proof great image. The only con or drawback would be the app is slow on initial connection to the camera. Sometimes it takes seconds and on rarity it fails and you have to reconnect. Not a big deal but thought I mention it. I had no real issues with this camera. This camera is amazing for indoor and outdoor use. The setup was very easy and took less than a minute. Once the camera was set up I tested it outside and the quality was amazing. I am very happy with this purchase. There is a two way talking option, and if needed you can sound an alarm to scare off people. The battery life is very good and can be charged with a cable unlike the Arlo batteries that need to be removed and changed.Read more

I am very pleased with this camera. It was packaged nicely and very securely. Compared to the older version of the security camera, this one has a wider picture of view and a sleeker overall design. The installation was very quick. It probably took all of about five minutes because you don’t have to fool with wiring. I like that the app allows you to customize how sensitive the motion detection is based on your needs. Overall the app runs very smoothly and is easy to navigate. I have it installed on one Apple device and one Android device and it works well on both. I purchased a separate SD card in order to store video on the app. I think this is a great addition in order to use the camera and app to its fullest potential. For the older version of the security camera, I went six months before it needed another charge. I’m thinking this camera will have the same battery expectancy, but cannot say for sure because we haven’t had it that long yet. When the camera is due for a charge, it is very easy to unscrew the camera from the mount and replace once fully charged. The only change I would wish to see is that the silicone port cover would be attached to the camera in a way that it couldn’t be fully removed. I can see that small cover getting lost when the port is in use for charging. Overall, I highly recommend this camera. The main highlights are that you don’t have to mess with wiring, it is very affordable, and you can have the peace of mind of having security without the contracts of a security system.Read more

So my story is that I just got my first apartment and I wanted a camera that I could see in REAL TIME without a subscription. I almost spend $200 on a Ring Spotlight camera but got talked out of that. Almost spent $100 on a Arlo camera because my dad has those and doesn’t need a subscription. But they had way too many bad reviews of having the charge the camera too much. So I came across this one while searching at work. Some of the reviews put me off but the ones that had pictures of the video and sound, made me want to try it out. Setting it up was easy. Installing it onto the door was also easy. So far, I’ve had it mounted and on for 6-7 hours? The battery life is amazing. As I’m typing this, it’s on 85%. I’m sure maybe in a week or two I’ll have to charge it but that’s fine. I can do it on a day I’m off. Simple simple. The camera quality and sound is AMAZING. it’s as good as it can be for a $50 “no brand” camera. I had to bypass the notifications to ignore my Do Not Disturb so I know if someone is at my front door. My only complaint is that in order for it to record and SAVE video by itself if someone shows up and you don’t check in time to see who’s at the door, is if you have an SD card. WHICH IT DOES NOT COME WITH. It’ll take a picture, but depending on how long they’re at the door, it won’t be enough. Other than that, this camera is great. I’ll update my review if I have any issues with it in the future. UPDATE 11/24/21: After 2-3 months of having this camera, it FINALLY needed to be charged and charging it only took a couple hours. The only flaw I’ve found since my first review is that when speaking from the camera using the mic option, people can barely hear me. I love this camera for so many reasons but convenience and picture quality are at the top of the list. We own a similar camera that we have mounted out front of our house and we got this one for the backyard after realizing that someone had been in the yard multiple times while we were sleeping. Set up is very easy, just charge, download the Adorama app then mount using hardware provided. You can set the sensitivity of your motion detector through the app as well as monitor the amount of battery left. You get alerts on your phone every time there is motion near the camera but in order to keep a log of those alerts you do need to purchase and install an sd card to the camera itself. The picture quality is very good and you can even speak through your phone, using the app to someone near the camera. There is no need to wire this camera, it works off of your wifi signal so keep that in mind when installing to make sure you have a strong signal and the cameras are weatherproof as well. We go out of town quite a bit and I really love being able to monitor what is going on at my house when I am away.Read more
