I am really pleased with these 18×18 down inserts, they are working great inside my 16×16 sofa throw pillow covers. The shipping packaging wasn’t great, but I won’t hold the product responsible for that. Upon opening the plastic bag containing the inserts, I immediately checked for an odor since that was a concern based on some reviews. I didn’t detect any odor, and the cotton coverings were nicer than I expected. I followed the instructions on the label and put the inserts in the dryer on air fluff setting with two rubber softener balls. When I took them out they had fluffed up considerably. Still no odor, which is great. I put them in my leather pillow covers, which were filled out well. I’m sure there will be some settling over time, but I guess I’ll just put them back in the dryer to fluff them back out. Added benefit – they were about half as expensive as the same size inserts I tried unsuccessfully to order from Bed Bath and Beyond. Guess I got lucky there.Read more

I purchased these in thinking they’d look like the ones in the picture. The ones that I received are not full at all and do not fill up my 20″ pillow cover inserts; they look quite wimpy. I should have returned them (had a lot of RL stuff going on and forgot about them, as they’re in my downstairs family room), but I thought after a few days they might come to life more and fill up with air (the set came in a box and all of the air had been sucked out of the package). At some point, I’ll probably buy more fill and beef them up. Not as expected.Read more

I purchased 24“ x 24“ inserts, to fill two 22“ x 22“ pillow covers. (Designers sometimes recommend buying an insert 1-2 inches larger, to ensure a substantial, luxurious look.) While the quality of the down filling in these inserts is fine, they are far understuffed. The pillows look emaciated and wimpy. Sometimes, if an inset is a high quality one, I can get away with using an insert the same size as the cover. But in this case, even after going two full inches larger, it still looks as though I have bought an insert that is much too small or poor quality. Unfortunately, after filling the first one, I thought I’d mistakenly ordered a pillow cover one size too large, since it was so deflated, so I didn’t return the inserts. After waiting for the other custom cover to arrive (which was delayed due to COVID restrictions for the small business owner sewing and shipping it), and realizing it wasn’t that I’d ordered the wrong size, but just that the pillows are poor quality, I am now outside of my return window and cannot return or exchange.Read more

I did not expect much and assumed I was buying some cheap pillows to fit Euro shams I got with a bad in a bag set. Boy was I wrong, these pillows are HEAVY, and fluffy, and are really nice. My husband keeps walking into the bedroom saying “this looks like a bed in a really nice house” LOL. I would definitely buy these pillows again.Read more

I have 20×20 cases and wanted 22×22 inserts for the fullness, as experts suggest. After receiving the 22s, I realized they measured 20″ from corner to corner. I had to send back and reorder 24″ inserts for my 20″cases. All but one of the four I re-ordered were perfect. One isn’t as full,so consistency is a problem with this company.Read more

I ordered these 22″ inserts to go into 20″ pillow shams. The inserts looked a little small right out of the package and did not fill up the shams. When I measured they only measured 21″ and that was when I had flattened them out. If you want to properly fill shams, you will need to go up two sizes with this brand, apparently. I am returning and going with hopefully, a higher quality brand.Read more

**UPDATE** After 2 weeks I felt pokes and all these feathers were popping out of the pillows. Make sure you have thick pillow covers or these will not be usable. Disappointed as the case needs to be thicker or less feathers and more down. **The pillows fluffed up with help. They however are NOT 20 x 20. They measure 19 x 19 so my pillows will not be as puffy as I wanted them to be. Make sure to get 18 x 18 cases for these pillows. Otherwise they are ok.Read more
