The media could not be loaded. I have two cats. One black and one white. Both polar opposites. My Yin and Yang! The little white one, Yuki Mari, is a Princess in every way and she is super picky about her treats. She has taken a lick of a stick but has never really eaten a whole one. I’ve tried every cat treat on the market and she will only eat the treats that look like plain jane cat food. My little house panther, Suki Rai, is a little demon and will eat anything. THESE ARE HER ABSOLUTE FAVORITE CAT TREAT OUT THERE. Like I said, she will eat any cat treat you give her but these she will actually go out of her way to ask me for. She knows where I keep them and when she wants a snack she will go to the closet, sit at the door or stretch for the handle, and meow until I give into the cuteness and give her one. Generally I will let her pick what flavor she wants, she will rub her face against one to let me know her choice. I have never seen Suki so crazy about anything other then her catnip cigar, until these meat stick cat treats. So bravo to the makers, you have made a killing with me because they are the only treat I buy for her now.Read more

I have one cat is totally meat crazy. She doesn’t like dairy or any other treat, only meat. The first two days, I handed it to her and then looked away. 2 minutes later when I looked at her again, it was gone. I thought it was so cute how she must be hiding them to eat later. Well, the third day, I watched her take it from my hands, put it on the floor, and then put the whole 3″ meat stick in her mouth and swallow. Of course I was horrified, as she could choke or it could cause an intestinal blockage. So from then on I decided to tear them up into smaller pieces, and I’m happy to report that she still loves them.Read more

These are insanely popular with my cats!! I give my cats treats on a regular basis, but I’ve never seen them respond so enthusiastically to any treats as much as they do these. I’ve been giving these as treats periodically for over 2 months and their interest in them hasn’t lessened at all. One of my cats likes to get the stick as a whole, and then makes short order of it. The other one didn’t really seem to know what to do with it until I broke it into smaller “kitty-treat sized” pieces. Then he went to town. So he’s now trained me to serve him his stick that way. The texture of the stick is hard to describe. Their look reminds me of “Slim Jim’s.” The sticks are not hard. They are semi-moist and pliable, but not mushy or crumbly. Each stick comes individually wrapped in a foil packet. I like that that keeps them so fresh, though I don’t like all the trash it produces. The sticks are pretty pricey as far as treats go, and I wish they were cheaper (they’re $0.42/stick). However, my cats seem to love them more than any other treats we’ve tried, so my feeling is that the treats are worth it; my cats have certainly made it clear that they think so!Read more

Did they change the flavor? My cat used to go c r a z y over these and that is not an exaggeration. I used to joke they were laced with cat nip. I just received a new order and my cat won’t even touch it! The consistency appears a lot dryer than the ones I have purchased in the past. Not sure if the package I received was just stale or if they changed the ingredients but I’m disappointed. I hope to purchased again from elsewhere to see what is going on. I will update if this was a one-off fluke. On a separate note, if your cat does go crazy over these like my cat used to then these are a great way to give cats pills! I’m not even kidding. I have tried just about every pill masker available. Pill pockets. That paste stuff. My cat won’t go near it. One product she ate but she managed to eat around the pill and leave that part behind. Cats, man- oy vey! …. Enter these pieces of pure heaven. One day I had the thought to Break off a section of these sticks and push a pill inside and MY CAT ATE IT WITHOUT HESITATION. Next I tried it with a larger capsule. I first pushed a skewer through the inside to create a tunnel then stuck the capsule in and Voila! Pill feeding achieved without being traumatic for either of us! I don’t know if it worked because of the consistency of the stick that allows you to hide it well (firmer outside, soft inside) or if it’s just because my cat goes so crazy over them that she gulps it down without having a chance to realize there is something hidden inside. Whatever it is I don’t care. It works and I’m grateful! …. i have a picture I wanted to upload to show everyone what I do but Amazon has disabled the feature to upload pictures right now (COVID-19). Hopefully I will remember to return so I can add it.Read more

Cat loves these treats (tho’ some are too hard and dry and must be tossed). My boy is allergic to grain AND is super particular, so Sheba treats have been a major part of our life during COVID when there hasn’t been much choice. I wish a smaller variety pack could be ordered, since he gets tired of one and wants the other on a regular basis!Read more

Cats can take it or leave it. We’ve tried ours on just about every decent cat treat over the years. Some of the highly rated they won’t come near, some they grudgingly pick at, one or two they gobble up. The Sheba stick treats are in the muddled middle (we tried chicken and also salmon). I suspect our cats are nonplussed with most treats because they already get expensive, super high quality human grade canned food interspersed with expensive, super high quality kibble. The treats ours always go for is the Halo freeze dried chicken breast. Just as well. There’s no need for cats to eat sugar and salt, which are Sheba treat ingredients, along with a ton of chemicals. Accordingly, we only give them pieces of these maybe once a week. Won’t buy again.Read more

Royal Canin is expensive so I looked for cat food with pork in it and found these. They help my senior cats maintain their weight and my younger cats love them too. Careful with how much you let them eat! They’d eat a whole box if you let them.Read more
