To start: I did not receive this product free, nor was I compensated in any way. It’s a shame this has to be said. In full transparency, I used this on on an 8 month old 2018 Mazda CX-5 with a premium factory paint (Soul Red Crystal). The paint is pretty impeccable condition, so if you’re using this on an older car, you may have more noticeable results (whether good or disappointing, depending on your paint quality.). Overall, I think this is an above average quick detailer spray, albeit a slightly pricy one. I do think the shine quality is a notch above something like Griot’s, but just barely. Product applied easily and wiped off easily with absolutely no hazing or streaking. Bonus points that you can use this to treat your wheel, windows, and trim as well. Added a slightly deeper depth to the paint, but no more than a full claybar and coat of quality wax would do (though this is less work). As I spent a few hours washing the car and about twenty minutes applying this, you’ll have to wait for an update as to how well this “ceramic” spray beads up water as I’m not undoing my work! That may change it to a 4/5 star review if it sheets off well. I don’t know that I’d spend $20 again on this. The results are decent but not as awe-inspiring as viral marketing may lead you to believe. Take that at face value, as my car’s paint is nearly brand new and we’ll maintained, so your mileage may vary. Nothing is a replacement for a day’s worth of clay barring and waxing. UPDATE: after applying two coats of this a few weeks ago, we had a late-season snowstorm Saturday, followed by constant rain. I added additional photos today to show how much this product beads water. I was floored. I have never waxed this car since I leased it last August- it never beaded up this well. By far the best product that I’ve ever used on my blacked out edition 2014 Ram 1500. I happened to receive my bottle two days after a snow storm up here in the northeast. My truck had the usual salt and grim after a storm. After rinsing the undercarriage with water I decided to put shine armor to the test as they claim it’s a waterless product. The results were amazing. I couldn’t believe with my own eyes the shine and showroom finish that it left on the black paint. Mirror like. I brought this product as I looked amazing on the adverts that I had been seeing. It is really easy to apply and the results are great before it rains. I was really impressed with the performance on the windows for beading when it did rain. But as for the water just beading off from the car when it rained. It didn’t happen, so I brought another bottle just incase and it was just the same. I followed the instructions to the letter. Ok so I fell for a social media ad. I knew better but I did it anyway. I’m embarrassed but I have to admit my mistake so you dont do the same thing. This stuff sucks. Can I say that on Amazon? It lasted a few days at most. The bottle is some weird miniature size I’ve never seen elsewhere. It’s so small I felt like giant spraying it on. Barely enough for one pass on a midsize vehicle. Unbelieavable video’s online made me suspicious but also curious i was drawn to the product and ordered a bottle. It turned out to be as remarkable as promised. I have tested it on my “difficult_to_clean” red Ducati Multistrada 1200S and the result was astonishing. The bike shines and even the unpainted plastic bits of the bike are shiny(and clean) It has a deep Ferrari like red glossy color again and it’s pretty water repellant. I immediatly started to look for other objects to test it on. So i have cleaned my black glossy ebikes as well. Same result here. You don’t need a proper wash before applying. Just spray and clean, and rub it afterwards to get the real deal. The e-bikes look brand new again and as to my car, it is now blinding in the hot summer sun with its blue vivid pearl gloss. So yes, strongly recomended. NOTE: i am also a big fan of expesive caranuba waxes and Meguilars etc.etc. But this is something else and this goes great alongside al of your other car-cosmetics.Read more

I wanted something like this for quick car washes and whilst it is a waterless wash product, I always wash the car “normally” first as I can’t bring myself to put this stuff on dirty and trust it not to scratch. Once dry, I applied the product as directed and it does work well initially, bring one of our cars up to a great shine. I was hoping that this would last for a few weeks, but really it’s looking like a week for top end finish, which is not bad but the hype would suggest something much better. I think the overall visual appeal is very much dependent on the colour of the car. Silver – nice. Deep silver – OK. I will probably switch to another product after this one as it doesn’t do enough to justify the price given the advertising hype it generates. UPDATE – My son decided to use it on his satin finish car. Whilst he still washed the car, when he applied the Shine Armour, it brought the paint up like new.
