The ‘low’ brightness is so dim it is basically worthless. I estimate it is 5-10% of what the brightness is on ‘high’. It could be that these are not designed to be dimmes. If so that needs to be listed in the description. The regular brightness is very bright and much more intense than an incandescent bulb and I am very pleased with that.Read more

So right away, these lights are a huge upgrade from the halogen. If you have them in high, they look great. The color goes well with my kitchen, if the light is on the low setting, you’ll wonder if there’s a bulb in there at all. It emits nearly no light on the low setting.Read more

It was a little hard to find lights like this that weren’t ridiculously expensive, or much brighter, etc. These are replacing a pair of 40W incandescents, and are FAR better in terms of brightness. I do wish that maybe a 25W equivalent, or maybe a 2700K color temperature, were available. Still, these are amazing, and the price was VERY reasonable.Read more
