I saw all the other comments and found them very helpful. My twins were born at 29 weeks and so we have been on this formula. However they do have tummy troubles. They are both gasey and one has a little constipation trouble. My pediatrician wanted them to continue taking it despite all that because of all the benefits this formula has. So we take gas drops, gripe water has been a huge help, and we have to use a little Miralax for the constipation. May sound like a lot but sorta worth it for all the benefits of the formula. They have gained a good bit of weight and are only two months behind developmentally. I agree that the price is just a little outrageous. Especially with all the hospital bills that have to be paid and everything with twins is double anyways. We are going through a 22.8oz can in about 3 to 4 days and lawl help me when they start taking more. These are my thoughts. Many blessings to you all.Read more

My baby was born premature (6 hours short of 33 weeks), and has just recently been weening from pumped breastmilk – going to full time formula. This was recommended by her doctors and it is definitely good! Fills her longer, gives her energy and has so far protected her from sickness. The only downsides I can see are: 1. The price. I mean, the stuff is well made. But please take into account the high medical bills that come with having to stay in the NICU for so long. Especially if not everyone’s insurance covers it. Also, if a baby won’t breastfeed because of constant bottle feeding in that NICU. She is almost 3 months now and goes through a can every two weeks if we’re lucky. So 6 cans only lasts, maybe, 3 months. 2. Her gas is pretty bad. She screams for hours because of it and the only relief she can get is during a warm bath – which relaxes her. I would have switched to full time formula a while ago if it weren’t for the price and the discomfort for my baby. Other than those two things, I love this formula! Easy to pack and transport and can be used with bottled water on the go

CONTAMINATED FORMULA! We’ve purchased Similac NeoSure 6 pack several times. Tonight when I went to prepare formula, brand new package with exp. date of April 2021. I noticed a moldy looking thing after only taking one scoop. Regardless my formula is contaminated and now I’m worried about using the remaining cans. In the past we haven’t had issues but I think we need to switch formulas and I’d like a refund since I’m unable to use the remaining cans of formula.Read more

My son was born premature by well over a month, came into the world a scrawny 3lbs 9oz! We started feeding him Neosure (later on Enfacare) and he started packing on the pounds. Next thing I know he has beefy legs, massive chest, 20″ baby biceps, cannonball delts. He’s almost 6 months and is damn near 13lbs of solid baby muscle and so handsome like his dad. The ladies love him! Neosure worked for us!Read more

My twins were 10 weeks premature. I was unable to produce the milk they needed. The hospital and my pediatrician recommended feeding them this product. I gave them Similac NeoSure until they 12 months old. They were never sick, they are healthy, all of their health records show that they developed at an acceptable rate. While I am sure that breastmilk from a healthy mother will always be the best choice for a baby, I am a mother who could not be more grateful for a product that can replace it. I would recommend this product for anyone who finds themselves in the same situation or is looking for a quality product for their child.Read more

The NICU started our preemie baby on NeoSure when he was 7 weeks old, he will be 4 months old this month & has yet to have any issues from drinking this!

We have to buy this formula for our premature baby. This has higher calories and it can make baby constipation. But we have no other choice. Sometimes I found there is impurity in the formula. Thus, we switch to the other brand on the later time when my baby no longer need this.Read more
