They have a metal strip at the top to reduce steam on your glasses. The elastic is soft and does not hurt my ears after long wear. They are not individually wrapped. The price is high because of the current situation, but they are in stock and made it to my house the day after I ordered them. If you are looking for high quality disposable masks, keep browsing. If you are looking for a mask to wear out to meet state regulations that will arrive within a week, then this is a viable option. The elastic strings are connected to the face mask with a very weak stamping process, so they break with the slightest amount of pressure, as soon as you get them on your ear. As you can see from the photo, this mask didn’t even get used yet before the connector broke as it was being put on. In a desperate attempt to get value out of it, I’ll tie the broken side into a loop and hang it off my ear–until the other end of the elastic band breaks as well. These products from “Asia Masks Ltd” and fulfilled by Amazon are a waste of money and complete junk.Read more
