I own many many mics, but only two lavalier mics. Pros: -Good price. -The accessories are good. -Easy to Use. -Battery life is great. -The 10db pad and low cut are a great addition at this price. Cons: -My $15 “Pop Voice” lavalier sounds better. the problem with the pop voice is that it can not take too much volume without saturating the capsule, so if you use on a person who speeks very loud it will sound very bad, thats why I switched to this Small Rig Mic. -The output is not very high, (you have to crank up your preamp or sound recorder) Final Toghts: This is a decent mic. the sound is a bit muffled, you will not get a very crisp voice compared to more expensive mics. but for the price it’s very good. I’ts has a “flat” frequency response so you do need to do some pst processing to make it sound decent. it has been very reliable so far. Things to have in mind: -The dead cat (wind protector) is way to big. could be a bit smaller. -The cable is too long for my needs. -You will need to do some work in post to make it sound decent.Read more

I’m happy with this microphone. I’ve been comparing lav. mics trying to find the right one—I’ve tried Diety, Saramonic, and Tascam—and this one beats out all three. This is a great lavalier microphone, and it’s even better when considering the price too.Read more

Not great to cancel the noise, but the sound quality is pretty good when it is quiet. The long cable is nice for the purpose I use it for.Read more

I really like the length of the cord and that the lav mic itself has a box for adjusting the sound output. The audio itself is a bit weak. Even with +10db and the low passthrough, it still felt like it was making me sound childish. The low tones are absent. It came with a neat deadcat and an extra cover, but with the audio quality being inferior to my non powered lav mic, this is a 3 star at best.Read more
