I had an issue after my printer did a firmware update, and chatted with SmartInk representative. in less than 24 hrs, I had replacement ink cartridges in hand, and it resolved the issue. My printer manufacturer ‘hunts’ for other manufacturer cartridges and then ‘firmware updates’ the printer to non-functional if they are found. TURN OFF AUTOMATIC FIRMWARE UPDATES !!! Okay so as you can see in the photo the top image I used Smart Ink. Keep in mind both backgrounds are Red. Skin tone are the same color. Bottom picture is when I use epson ink. The image gets brighter once it is pressed and it stays the color red. As for the smart ink the ink stays that same color and it’s not even red!! It’s Maroon. Plus the whole skin tone is way off!! Bottom line is don’t waste your money on this ink unless you just really don’t care if your red doesn’t come out red. Or your colors in general aren’t real colors. They are just darker in general. I make Loteria images and press them on shirts. Unfortunately, I go though tons and tons of ink. I thought by taking the save money route I could save some cash but, it ended up in a failure and now I lost $70 plus dollars. Just don’t buy this ink. Stick with Epson.!!!Read more

They work and last long but for simple tasks. The point I’ll make is it does have the best color quality at all. If your doing sublimation or trying to print a picture or anything with color it’s just not going to come out okay. It will look different and dim and dull. The seller is 100% good. This is just a product review. Not a critique on the seller.Read more

I replaced just the Cyan cartridge in my Epson printer and the new cartridge works inconsistently at best and more often not at all. It’s too bad, I can’t find XL sized Epson cartridges for anything but black and was hoping this would be a good solution.Read more

I had no problem with installing the new cartridges. The printer didn’t even say it wasn’t a true Epson cartridge. I’m so happy to have a low price option since Costco closed their photo department for when I used to refill my ink there.Read more
