To the basic people out there saying this “fake” GTFH with that nonsense. The box came from Amazon, the Sol De Janeiro was wrapped in shrink wrap from the manufacturer. When dealing with any lotion there are several factors. One is the temperature when it arrived. I live in Florida AKA next door to hell heat wise and the package rode on a hot UPS truck and sat at my doorstep for several hours. When I first opened it, the consistency was a bit off but after it cooled to room temperature, it was good to go. It smells like heaven and moisturizes like a boss. So pay the $$, buy the product, use it, love it and don’t listen to these basic housewives with nothing to do but complain in product reviews because their life is sad.

This is not a fake product. The small container on the left was a sample in my boxycharm, and I bought the bigger container from this seller on Amazon. Everything is the exact same down to the packaging. ANYWAYS hands down the best lotion I’ve ever used. It perked my skin up a bit especially on the sides of my butt (not a huge difference, but for cellulite I guess nothing works but diet and excerciss) and it also leaves a beautiful sheen on your skin. I am OBSESSED with Sol De Janeiro’s Brazilian line!! I love the scent, from the whole collection. The smell is intoxicating. It smells smooth, calming and soft. It makes me feel as though I’m on vacay, on the sunny beaches of Rio. The Bum Bum cream I have noticed after using it for so long, it does firm/tighten the skin. Not a significant amount, but it is noticeable. Let’s be real, this is a cream, not magic. It does leave a very *SUBTLE* sheen/shimmer/glittery affect to your skin that makes it appear to “sparkle” or “glow” in the sunlight. It does not contain glitter, but a very, very finely milled micro-glitter. If you’re looking for a intense or glittery product, this is not that at all. I’ve read a few reviews about this product being “fake”. I also buy Sol De Janeiro from Sephora and I can assure you, this product from Amazon is not fake. HOWEVER, even though I don’t believe it is fake, the scent from the one I ordered here compared to my Sephora, is lacking in intensity. So I’m not sure if it’s due to being old, meaning it sits in a warehouse for long periods of time or maybe it’s due to being exposed to hot/cold, whether at the warehouse or during shipment (its been a very hot summer here in Pa). The smell is accurate, but the quality of the cream as well as the “sheen” it leaves on your skin is found in the Sephora purchased product while I have not gotten that in either of the 2 I have recently purchased on amazon. After it was on my skin the smell started to get super annoying. It smells like a cookie-scented candle mixed with sunscreen and just a tiny hint of men’s cologne. I dabbed a little bit on my arm over 7 hours ago and I can still smell it. The cream seems thick in the jar but then melts into a watery texture on your skin. Not impressed at all, and very glad I only bought the small size. The way people went on and on about it, I almost bought a set.Read more

As of today I have ordered the large size three times and when my current jar is low, I will order again. I have never EVER been a person to moisturize my entire body daily, but I do now. Someone down there said that this scent drives men wild. I don’t know that I’ve experienced that but people comment ALL the time about how great I smell.
