I thought perhaps it was my placement of these lights because after lighting up the first night, they didn’t light up again for two days. I thought it was perhaps a fluke. They continued to be inconsistent so I figured something was wrong and sent for a replacement. The replacement did the same thing- worked the first night. Maybe every few days after that. So I returned for a full refund and the next brand I chose have worked every single night like magic. I gave 3 stars and not lower because set up is easy. They came greatly packaged. I actually really like the lights themselves. Nice quality, they feel heavy duty and for solar lights they’re relatively bright. Downside is that they do not automatically turn on when it gets dark. I have these in my patio and do not want to have to go out there every night to turn them on. I specifically purchased solar so they turn on automatically and these do not. I’ve tried different angles & positions to see if that was it but they just do not turn on by themselves. The on/off button HAS to be pressed to turn them on. In fact I never turn them off but each day I have to press the button to turn them on. Unfortunately I am going to have to return them.Read more

It took 3 sets of lights to complete the yard, the last set of lights had 2 defective outlets so they would not work, I text the manufacturer who replaced my last defective string no problem. I’m so happy with these lights, they are beautiful hanging in a large tree in our front yard. I wondered if the plastic that the bulbs were made out of wouldn’t be very clear but, they look just like glass. It’s a nice feature that they aren’t glass for outdoor use.Read more

I bought these for our fire pit area and have charged them for 24 hours and they still do not turn on. I got one strand to turn on for about two minutes, turned it off and then tried to turn it back on and now it won’t come on at all. I guess the 45 I spent untangling the lights out of the box and the half hour I spent hanging them was useless. Also, one of the screws that came with the solar panel. BROKE when I was screwing it into my barrel posts. I was planning on connecting two strands also but that wasn’t possible as there was no connector. Extremely dissatisfied!!Read more
