This is not a typical tape or film! It is like a squishy jelly, sticky tape that does not handle curves well! Would only work if the door edge is straight all the way down, otherwise the jelly will clump on the curves.Read more

I was expecting something more efficient and easy to work with but got a little disappointed. – It’s not as thick as I expected but looks like it can take care light scratches. + Great idea, easy to apply on straight and flat lines. – Horrible application to curved, round, cornered places. Ohh, that’s our cars… – Can’t stand heat gun and can’t be shaped like vinyl wraps. – Looks ugly and very unprofessional. Only people with certain skills and experience can maybe apply it properly. – Expensive for what you get and how it will look eventually. I’m not happy with it and looking for a different product on the market.Read more

Good adhesion and does what it needs to. Heads up that it does not bend along a curve, so plan your straight line applications, which can be tricky on our modern curve-lined car doors. Watch out for grit, sand, and dust because this tape carries a pretty decent static charge, which can interfere with a clean application.Read more

Listen to the other negative reviews. If your door is smooth with not many angles then it might work. In my case, the Ridgeline doors are too angular and there are areas where the curve is too much for the tape to handle smoothly. It left ripples on the more extreme sections. Tried several times with no success. So far I’m gonna live with it as it’s better than nothing. But be ware that it’s not perfect. Not sure how long it’s gonna last, time will tell. I’ll update here if things change for the worse.Read more

Impossible to get a good installation on a modern car door without making a lot of cuts. Making the cuts however, leaves visible lines which makes for a very unsightly installation. This tape also has a thin outer layer of plastic film which adds to the unsightly appearance. Would not recommend, and would not buy againRead more

I only used it or applied to the edge of my door sill where it meets the carpet. I have Dogs and despite all the seat covers, dog hair lands on the car carpet. I’m not comfortable applying it elsewhere on my car since I’m not sure if it leaves a residue. Heat and length of time will tell. I definitely would not apply it to the outside of my car. Who knows what it will do to my paint. Horribly difficult to cut and its only for STRAIGHT FLAT EDGES. Too expensive for what it is. Will never buy it again.Read more

Easy to ruffle up on door curves. Nice and thick protective tape, not as good as 3 M’s, but wide and way less expensive for alot of tape…Will see how it holds up in the suns/heat?Read more

I thought it is and now I wish this really was a PPF strip. Those are probably the same price. This is actually more like an adhesive tape. It probably does not say that it is an adhesive tape. Leaves behind creases in application. Secondly, when applying on the rubber surface, near the foot/entrance from door to inside, it actually peels of the rubber surface when removing. That was little strange. I am in Canada and ordered from US Amazon for price. unfortunately, cannot returnRead more
