I have been using this brand Lavender E.O. for all my soap products for the last 4 years. According to Sun Organics customer service they have recently changed “farmers”. I will not work in cold process! Your batter will seize upon pouring it in. I couldn’t figure out what was wrong with my soap, I thought it had to be my coconut oil, or olive oil, or temp, or goat milk…not the E.O. I have used for years! After pinpointing it to Lavender and Tea Tree Sun Organics, I had wasted 60 pounds of soap. TRASH! Won’t cure, smells horrible! Doesn’t smell anything like the E.O. Smells like a weird chemical. Most of it seized in the mixing bowl and I had to scramble to dump in a trash can. The lye won’t cure in it, just burns your hands handling it after 4 weeks.Read more

Im really sad this didnt work out but imma let yall know if you are looking for 100% lavender oil this my love is NOT IT. This has a VERY CHEMICAL scent and when my husband accidentally sprays it toward me it literally has burned my eyes and left a horrible taste in my mouth. This has also STRIPPED the paint from my dresser. My husband has really bad OCD, he uses lavender oil in his nightly ritual spraying it around the bedroom and then on his body to help sleep (hes done this for years and over the years we have bought every brand of lavender oil) but this is not lavender at all let alone an oil. For the price I really was excited to have found something authentic but I was mistaken. Save your money and buy from plant therapy or the brand Now. The pictures are where this brand of lavender oil was sitting or was accidentally sprayed stripped the paint on my wood furniture. Again, my husband has sprayed many other lavender oils and this has NEVER HAPPENED.Read more

this is no more lavender essential oil then I’m a monkey’s uncle! I have been making handmade bath and body products for over 15 years and this is not essential oil I bought it because it looked like a good price and it was Amazon prime but what a complete rip off I tried to contact the company and they will not contact me back I would never recommend anything from this company! first bad review I have ever left, but well-earned.Read more

The scent is pleasant but weak. It worked fine in my expensive diffuser for a week or two before it clogged it up (it was nearly new and worked perfectly with higher quality oils). After clogging the diffuser, it leaked out and ruined the furniture it was on. I was beyond disappointed!!! Expensive lesson in you get what you pay for. Save yourself the trouble and spend a few more dollars on the good stuff!Read more

I ordered three products, after opening the peppermint oil, I knew there was no point in opening anything else because of the peppermint oils lack of efficacy. There was absolutely 0% tingle. no reduction in pain. I used a ton of it and NOTHING! My feet and knees still hurt!. Usually, peppermint oil goes right to work, tingling, cooling, I have repeated the process 3 times in half hour just to be sure…nothing! I am very disappointed! I realize you will never please everyone but in this case, reading the negative reviews first would have given me the information I needed. I will never buy an essential oil without reading the negative reviews. Those were the customers that have used quality products and know the difference. Apparently, the good reviews are from people who have never really used essential oils before. I hope they will refund my money. I can’t even find how to contact them. I had placed an order for 12 more oils last night. I cancelled all of it. The brand at WALMART WAS FAR BETTER!!!Read more

The first essential oil I actually ordered from this company was the Lavender Essential Oil. I had previously been buying my Lavender Essential Oil from either Target or Bartel Drugs (a Washington State drug store chain) when I could get it on sale. A tiny half ounce bottle cost around $7.00 but I happily paid for it because I really loved the scent. My son told me about Sun Essentials & told me that for what I was paying for the tiny half ounce bottle of my brand, I could get a full 4 ounces of Sun Essentials. My son also told me that Sun Essentials was actually better than my brand. So I tried it, & WOW! It works great in my diffuser. I actually load up my diffuser before going to sleep. I recently received two 16 ounce bottles of the Lavender in tinted plastic bottles which is great because I have an issue with accidentally dropping larger bottles. I really love the value, & the scent. I’m also using the Tea Tree oil on my skin & it’s also pretty good. Sun Essentials has a strong but pleasing scent.Read more

We have no way to test whether this essential oil is genuine or not. It appeared to smell OK. But we do have a serious warning for crafters. It will NOT WORK to scent handmade cold process soap! A very experienced soap maker used this oil and ruined several very expensive batches of soap. It caused violent seizing of the mixture and produced an inferior, blotchy end product. Other oils from this company performed as expected without issue. So we are assuming the problem is isolated only in the Lavender Essential Oil. We emailed the company, but never heard back. They do not provide a phone number. Buyer beware.Read more

I put 4 eyedroppers in my Son’s bath, and he had a bad reaction from it. I thought maybe I had put to much in the tub, so next bath a few days later I just put in 1 eyedropper, the reaction wasn’t near as bad, but he still had some red rashy spots on his skin. I reread the description, and it is advertised as an oil for diffusers, and doesn’t say anything about putting it in bath water, but the only ingredient listed is Lavender Oil. I have used other products with lavender oil in them and he hasn’t had any reaction to them, but maybe this wasn’t meant to use in the bath without something to mix in to reduce the potency.Read more

This product is very unsatisfactory. The aroma and viscosity of this oil is well below normal standards and would not recommend this product.Read more
