There are definitely things to like about these joy cons, but ultimately they’re comparable to the madcatz controller you’d give to your younger sibling when you wanted to keep the good controller for yourself. The material looks and feels much cheaper, but that’s something easily overlooked while playing. The curved back is easily my favorite part of these and why I actually prefer these in handheld mode. Much more comfortable than standard joy cons in that way. I think the rumble is a bit stronger and less refined, but that’s another thing I can overlook since I’m not playing anything that relies on HD rumble. The main buttons, joy sticks, and triggers feel identical to first party joy cons. The directional, home/screenshot, and +/- buttons however are noticably worse. The biggest offense is when you slide on the shoulder button covers with the wrist strap. They definitely fit too tightly, but the rails on the joy cons themselves seem perfectly fine so I’m guessing the problem lies with the covers themselves. Overall, if you don’t want to shell out 80 bucks for first party joy cons, these will get the job done. Just expect to get what you pay for.Read more

Its a switch controller and works every bit as well as the original. Quality control is a bit lacking as the first one I received was DOA. But since its backed by Amazon’s return policy that was not an issue. I simply sent it back, got another one and the second one worked perfectly. Great price for those who want a Second set of switch joysticks for 2-4 player action.Read more
