Being happy is more than just a mood, it’s an art. Based on the burgeoning field of happiness studies, each card in this cube features a factual tidbit, tip, or quotation, along with a corresponding question to prompt thoughtful discussion. We should tell you there may be side effects – research shows that people who engage in deep conversations are happier than those who stick to small talk. And, frankly, we couldn’t be happier about it. Sample Questions: What’s the best stress reliever you know? When you want to laugh what or who do you turn to? Who are your happiness role models?

I purchased this and another set of tabletopics for what I’d hoped would be fun conversations with my partner during lock-down. Unfortunately, we were both disappointed to find all sorts of not very happy questions: “What do you worry about in the middle of the night?” “Do you worry more about the little or the big things?” We were surprised at how many of the questions seemed depressing, so we sorted them into two stacks. Happy questions like “What are the small daily things that give you pleasure?” and the unhappy questions. As you can see, a full third of the cards fell into the “depressing” category. The acrylic box is solid and the cards themselves seem durable, but I was disappointed with the content and won’t purchase from this company again. Of course, tastes are different; YMMV!Read more

This company lacks vision and creativity. The 50% of the cards are mundane and boring. And with other decks overlap way too many questions. I think I bought 15 decks, and I am really disappointed. The price is way too high, the decks are heavy and the acrylic case will crack very easily. As a matter of fact 80% of the decks were already cracked when I received the products over two different orders. This company loves repeating cards and tends to lean towards to moral of life, I have no issue with that, but it makes the cards boring. I think the cards are useful, but the price/performance ratio is not that great. The price should be reduced and the company should think outside of their box.Read more

Actual Sample Questions: “What most contributes to your unhappiness?” “What is the least satisfying area of your life.” I was looking for something to help my loved ones focus on and reflect upon the GOOD in their life. To think of things that bring them joy. This set brought me unhappiness with my purchase, thanks for asking Table Topics.Read more

I never played this, because I looked through a few cards and the “advice” side seemed to one-size-fits-all, and the questions looked boring, rather than insightful, intriguing, or fun. I’m giving it to the thrifts store. Nice container, though!Read more

This is one of my favorites of the many cards I’ve bought so far. TABLE TOPICS has a variety of categories to pick from, I also really like BIG TALK cards, and have on order the COUPLES and DINNER GATHERINGS cards by table topics. BIG TALK IS A DIFFERENT company but still found on AMAZON which are very good. I always hated small talk with a passion, but these cards are such a good idea. They definitely get people talking, if not too much!!!!!!

You would assume, with a product like this, that some of the cards would not be particularly useful. But, we went through about a dozen in one setting with our kids (age 23 and 21). Here are some example questions: Do you worry more about the big things or the little things? Do you spend more time socializing through the computer or in the company of friends? Who has the most beautiful smile in the world? Seriously? A Happiness question about someone else’s physical beauty? Our favorite card was this: which purchase gave you the worst case of buyer’s remorse? That would be Happiness TableTopics!Read more

Got this for my mom and her husband. They told me they went through the entire box one night to see what all the questions were and that the questions are very stimulating and that they will now go through maybe two a night and discuss them. hahaha, my parents really love it.Read more

Read more
