I tried a million things before buying this kit when I should have bought it FIRST! My son had lice and I noticed too late because I didn’t know he gave me lice too. I tried all these natural remedies that didn’t work and I was suspecting we had super lice. When I was TIRED of being so damn itchy and tired of seeing my son itchy I grabbed this. The first time I used it was the only time I’ve needed to use it! I tested it on a louse and it was dead within the hour. I let the formula soak in our hair for a few hours and combed everybody out!!!!! THANK GODDDDDD THEY ARE GONE!! damn right im using that shampoo daily too. if u are skeptical of buying this and ur reading this review, trust me, it works.Read more

This really worked well. Nothing about dealing with lice is easy but following all the directions and follow up will kill these super bugs. The company also has a website with reassuring info on lice and keeping it away. We also used the lice freee spray in the beginning. Unlike the other lice killers this really kills the eggs too and that makes the whole process easier. I have been using the shampoo as suggested and doing daily checks. Have not found anything yet 10 days later. Lice can make you feel defeated but this product and the website really help your piece of mind. Being diligent with cleaning the house, car seat and everything else is necessary. I also use a daily preventative spray with extra peppermint oil and lavender oil added. Bugs don’t like it.Read more

I have used this brand for quite some time. I had only used the spray, but I saw this and thought it would be easier to use and more effective. The hair treatment is like gel and it has to be washed out, which is unlike the spray that can just sit in the hair until you wash it. The comb dispenser was kind of cool though because the gel is dispensed from each tooth of the comb. The shampoo does nothing to protect the hair after treatment. I used this kit on my daughter and son and both of them had nits again a few days later. The comb is a joke, it is the same one used in the spray kit and it absolutely does not work. You need a separate comb for the nits and if you are lucky the comb that comes with this product may pick up an actual louse. I will stick with the spray only, it is effective and does not need to be washed out.Read more

I have tried EVERYTHING (except paying $200 at a salon to get rid of lice). Out of all the home kits o find this one to be the best. Even the package states guaranteed. As long as you follow the very easy directions you’re good. No more lice! I saware by this stuff. As much as I wish never to have to use it again, if I ever have to deal with lice again (new school year) this will always be my go to solution.Read more

This is a solution of sodium chloride! It is salt water with some soapy stuff and scented to resemble black licorice. It is a homeopathic “remedy”. The comb is good though. A high price to pay for a comb.Read more

I bought this kit at a drug store but ordered a 2nd kit online should we have lice again in the future. Followed the directions carefully. Worked perfectly. We did a second treatment per the directions “just in case” but really didn’t need it. Lice is such a pain but this kit gave me peace of mind that we wouldn’t have a reoccurrence.Read more

This shampoo works! I will suggest though if one member in the family has lice please make sure everyone at home uses the shampoo treatment. Whether you think you have it or not. My daughter had lice and I used Rid. After combing through her hair she still had lice. Mind you she has long curly hair. I bought this instead another Rid because it’s expensive for a small bottle. So I finally had my girls and myself use this shampoo to make sure we’re not bouncing these lice back and forth. Unfortunately!!!! I had LICE! I was so focused on my youngest and my oldest I DIDNT THINK TO HAVE MY HAIR CHECK MORE THAN ONCE. I ran to the shower using this shampoo. I have shoulder length 3c curly hair. Shampooed twice and left it on for 2-3 mins. Five head lice dead! I’m still using it and I’m so surprised how much product is in this small bottle. I highly recommend!Read more
