The product by Thorne Research is great, however, the company that stored and shipped it to us is called iServe and they must have stored it next to something scented. All 4 bottles we ordered had a nasty floral scent on them. We may have to throw them all out. iServe needs to realize that you can’t store supplements that people are going to ingest next to scented products that contain toxic chemicals.Read more

I did quite a bit of research before throwing my money at this particular zinc supplement. As a vegan for the past few years, it’s important to supplement routinely with key vitamins (e.g., B12) and minerals one cannot get simply through plants. The benefits of zinc cannot be understated: in addition to boosting immunity, it also helps with thyroid and sexual function, among other things. Thorne’s zinc supplements are clearly of high purity and efficacy, and their zinc is readily absorbed. I wouldn’t trust another brand.Read more

Knock on wood, I’ve been healthy even with an auto-immune disease. I’m making it through the Plandemic so far and have tested negative twice. I’ve heard that one must “take vitamins in the morning and minerals at night”. Zinc is one of those minerals like magnesium that will lower cortisol levels, so that’s why you want to take it at night. You don’t want to be sleepy during the day. Also take it with E for it to be effective. I’ve read all of this in my research into autoimmune and Hypothyroidism.Read more

I’ve had a really hard time finding zinc picolinate (or orotate) capsules vs. tablets, as I don’t want to be ingesting a bunch of starches or fillers with my supplements beyond the gelatin capsule they come in. I’ve purchased several of Thorne products now without realizing they were all from the same brand, because it was my highest priority to find high-quality supplements without any added ingredients. I heard 40 or 50 mg is toxic if you keep taking zinc, and if that is true, this 30 is a bit high, i will try their lower dose next time instead of doing this one every 2 days. This kind of zinc, picolonate is the only kind i will get in the future unless i see new info.Read more
