    I purchased these to absolutely block accidentally turning non phantom power on my mixer with a ribbon microphone connected. I could have purchased TRS-to-XLR cables, but that is a lot more expensive than using there adapters. Of course a TRS connection is NOT capable of transmitting phantom power. The construction is heavy-duty and they did not introduce any noise into the signal chain between the connected mics and devices and my mixer. The spring leader release has just enough tension, and they mate perfectly with my existing XLR cables. Bottom line: a safe purchase.Read more
