I have a vent mount phone holder at the moment but then saw this one that can be either window or dash mounted..(it also comes with a vent clip if you decide to go that route). I decided to try the dash mount and am very pleased! My vent mounted clip could not be mounted near the steering wheel because it interfered with the windshield/headlight arm, so had to be mounted far right of my stereo, making me have to take my eyes off the road longer than I like to view. This one mounts as close as I need it without having to reach or obstruct driving and best of all, is low profile and doesn’t block any view of the road like window mounts do! That’s a great bonus! Built solid as well and doesn’t loosen much, if at all so far, from road vibration. Very happy with this one and think you will be too!Read more

Please note that I am not using the dashboard ring that comes with it. Already have one installed and those are a beast to pull up. So far this is a quite nice mount. Very adjustable in how high you want it. Obviously I am using the dash mount and is below the windshield. Feels quite solid and not as worried about it falling off like other mounts. Easy to adjust. Holds my Samsung S21 with a case with no issues. Legs adjust down for taller phones and space in the middle for a charger. Has a button on either side of the bottom half of the holder for a release. Just need to hit one, not both to open it up.Read more

Really like this phone holder! I mounted in a 2017 Toyota tundra and really like the bent arm on the holder. It allows the the top of the phone to be below my vision of the road, so there is no obstruction of view. I own another holder from this company and this holder feels like it is built better and stronger. I would like to see the base be able to rotate. It is a fixed base so once it is mounted the arm is set and the only way to change it is to remove it and reposition. Not a big deal but can be a pain. I also do not like were the buttons are to release the phone. They are on the sides of the holder at the bottom and were I have it mounted it is difficult the reach them. On my older model it is on the top back part of the holder and easier to access with one hand. If you have a pop socket on your phone you may have to remove it for a good fit. In the photos I used my wife’s phone to show that it just barely holds it and it came loose a couple times. After removing the pop socket it worked great. Overall I would recommend this product even with the couple of issues I mentioned. Customer service has been awesome with this company in the couple of times I have had some problems. I love doing tech reviews and if you want more in-depth reviews, check my channel out “OndaWire” over on YouTube. I was in need of a car phone holder and before I was using one that covered my AC vent. It gets hot here during the summer so I didn’t like that my AC vent was blocked. Then in the Winters, the AC vent would blow out hot air which would overheat my phone, so I wanted to try something different, and then I saw this TORRAS Car Phone Holder. Pros: 1. This is priced very well, and the suction cup is very strong. Make sure you wipe/wash the inside windshield first before putting it on to make sure you get a good suction and also make sure that you don’t get dirt or dust on the inside of the suction cup. 2. You can put this on the dash, window, or any other place inside the car/truck, and when I was driving my phone did not bounce, move or jiggle at all. I was surprised that it held my phone so well. MAKE SURE you release the suction cup with the lever before putting it on your windshield and then clasp the lever back up once you put it on the windshield. This is not explained in the directions that come with it. 🙂 3. I am using an iPhone 11 Pro Max and this will hold an even bigger phone. I tried to add a picture of how wide it opens and it has pads so on the inside of the holders so when you squeeze it together to clasp your phone you don’t have to worry about it scratching it. 4. It comes with a pad to put on your dash if you want to place it on the dashboard. if you do, make sure it’s a flat surface. Read what I say in my con section about this. 5. I love the way it adjusts. You can move it in multiple directions. 6. The suction cup is washable so after a long period of usage, you can clean it to get back to its almost new suction status. Cons: 1. When I was trying to put it on the windshield and tighten it, 2 of the plastic teeth broke off. It still works but I did not like how easy these little plastic teeth broke. I put it on correctly and was disappointed at that. 2. I also added a picture where I tried to put up my sun shield and with this in the window, the sun shield just wouldn’t go on right. I wish there was a latch to detach it easily and then reattach it. 3. You can put this on your dashboard, but it is a one-time use option. The directions say that you should use the pad it comes with, but again, it’s a one-time use pad and if you don’t like where you put it, well, you are stuck. This is why I went for the window option. Overall, I am still giving this a 4 star only because with the 2 broken teeth, it still works GREAT. I’ve had this for about 2 weeks and love it, but I will update this review in about 1-2 months to see how the other teeth and the holder work out.Read more
