This bench is padded and opens up for storage. A very good price. The height is good because it is just slightly lower than I would have it, but better than than to buy a bench too high! I just put one flat chair pillow on it. Be sure to anchor the legs on tightly. They can come a little loose with use, but easily tightened again.Read more

Build seems solid. Looks very nice and is comfortable. Storage under seat is adequate for sheet music and books. My only complaint is that the buttons on the upholstery tend to ‘pop’ for some reason when anyone gets on or off the bench. I’m hoping that they will not come loose, but so far they seem adequately attached.Read more

Mine didn’t come with instructions either. Here is how you do it… 1) Insert leg through the seat corner. 2) Place flat washer first. 3) Place split lock washer second. 4) Place nut and tighten.Read more

It had a strong chemical odor when unboxing that dissipated in a few days. It didn’t come with instructions, but the hinged seat top is preassembled. I have IKEA assembly experience and figured it out; took about 30 minutes. The seat is a good quality, sturdy legs; I feel confident with the weight limits. Added bonus of shallow storage under the seat. At $54.99, good value. I would recommend this bench at this price and quality level. The only thing missing now is piano lessons.Read more

Very good looking and sturdy bench. The buttons at the top can not be felt while seating on the bench. The padding is on the stiff side but it feels good for a piano bench. The storage is average but nothing amazing. Our previous bench had a little more storage than this one. The fabric under the cushion is a little weird and it shows changes on the color of the fabric but it cannot be seen while closed so it’s ok.Read more

Honestly shocked. I mean, I did come from using a rickety metal drum stool to this but I took the time to line up the legs and tighten them properly and I’m in love. Biggest bang for buck. I’m just hoping it holds up. The stability isn’t an issue so far and there are no scuffs, dings, mis-stitches. Its gorgeous and insanely comfortable.Read more

Don’t know how long it will last. Stitching by a button isn’t correct, leather is cut in another place underneath the lid, bottom of storage is like cardboard, and scuff on wood right out of the box. No instructions. I would contact the seller if I could reach them.Read more
