This is pretty solid video capture card that I was looking from a long time. I will be using it for YouTube live streaming. Features: 1. This can take max input of 4k @ 30 fps and has max. output 1080p @ 60fps. You must set the dslr at 1080p @ 60 fps to get 1080p @ 60fps. If dslr is set at [email protected] , it will produce output of 1080p @ 30fps. 2. It has 1 hdmi input port 1 hdmi output port and 1 USB C port. I have used its hdmi input port to take input from my dslr and USB – C -USB A 3.0 cable (separately purchased) to connect to my windows i5 laptop. There is a usb c – usb -c cable for Macbook users that comes with the box. 3. It has a 3.5 mm audio input jack and a separate 3.5 mm audio output jack. 4. Build Quality is very good and strong and seems to be long-lasting. It also comes with a strap so that its not easy to get get lost. 5. It has good exterior color as well that gives it a nice look and also came in a neat packaging. 6. It comes with a readable user manual, warranty card. Customer support is also responsive in answering any technical questions.Read more

I have this and a name brand camlink and I prefer this one. It is larger. To look at more reviews look up the Mirabox version. It lists in quicktime/obs as a Mirabox and it’s a good part. The audio in is really nice to have as is the HDMI out. I’m using it with a 5d IV running the audio (lav mic) through the camera. Audio through the camera keeps everything synced up. It does have some goofy writing printed on the top of it, but I don’t mind it adds some personality. It’s kind of an obscure part so if you aren’t really familiar with what it does or why you want one I’d recommend researching it more. It may be worth pointing out that a cheap laptop without upgraded graphics can’t handle 1080p video capture. You need a more serious laptop with the graphics upgrade.Read more

I use my laptop to control streaming, and this device works wonderfully. It shows up as a “Miracast demo” device, but it’s the real thing.Read more

It says I can play in 3k but I obviously can’t. It only allows 1080p so I’m going to have to return this product. I want to play my game play in 4k.Read more

I was streaming Switch and SNES Classic on Twitch Studio in no time flat with this. Just plug it into a USB3 port on the PC, plug your sources in via HDMI and optionally plug a headset/mic in if you want to inject your own audio *directly* into the stream without having to do any post mixing (I didn’t try this myself as I’ll never actually need to do this). It gets recognized as a video input device by Windows automatically, no drivers need to be manually installed. After a few moments, I started Twitch Studio and set it up as the video and audio input device and that was it… Both the audio and video signal are nice and clear, no issues from what I can tell so far with framerate or stability. The actual device itself is made of metal (unexpected, from the photos I was expecting a relatively cheap plastic case) which should help avoiding overheating so it seems pretty well made for what it costs. It does come with a USB cable which is better than the cheap cables usually included with things, it’s got a braided jacket and everything so it fits right in with most gaming gear. It’s supposed to do 4K @ 30hz but I haven’t tried it, my PC itself is the only 4K capable machine I have. I suppose 30hz is more than good enough for Streaming most games on current gen consoles without losing anything but it’s going to be a limitation for the next gen that you want to keep an eye on. Devices like this really should support 4K/60 minimum going forward – live streaming you’re not likely to ever be streaming in 4K/60 but for creating prerecorded content like for YouTube you might want it sooner than later.Read more

This just simply works without a hitch and Windows 10 automatically sees this as an input device and is ready to go without any need to go digging around for software. This worked very well connected to the Nintendo Switch dock, ps4 and the output is smooth and looks good. It didn’t seem to introduce any significant latency and I found that I could play as normal while this was recording.Read more

This operates by telling your computer, that the HDMI input you’ve chosen is a webcam, you can use pretty much any software that captures from a webcam to record. Build quality seems good and from the testing I’ve done i haven’t had any over heating issues ( it gets hot but it keeps on performing) Great for streaming, recording a presentation, or pretty much any other thing where you want to record your screen fully. It does not come with an HDMI cable, so this is required.Read more

My husband used this to stream his game. It works well, and didn’t have much latency when playing. Setup of this was pretty easy. He just had to setup a few things in OBS and it was streaming after a few minutes of it up. The video quality was good, even on his old computer.Read more
