I love this trim removal kit. YouTube videos on car stereo or dash cam installation always advise using these tools. I had used a screwdriver or putty knife to remove trim in my cars over the last 30 years. I was a fool. This kit makes the job almost enjoyable. There is a tool for everything. With the screwdriver and putty knife you always think, “If I only had a tool shaped like ‘x’!” There is a tool for everything here. My last project required removing a plastic kick-panel. A cheap car, it has a fastener that goes right through the piece into the frame like nail. The head of the clip fits in a recessed groove of the piece to be removed. I’m thinking, “I need a tool that is like the back end of a hammer, but it needs to fit into the circular recessed groove! Oh, wait, that metal tool!” The metal tool was clearly designed to remove this fastener. Oh, I have removed this type of fastener over the years with a screwdriver and pliers. The faster would get damaged and could not be reused. This kit is so cheap and solves so many problems. BUY THIS KIT.Read more

These tools are made from soft plastic without any sort of glass reinforcing. They bend preventing any leverage being transferred to the part. The tips get dinged up and lose their edge and quickly become blunt..Read more

Only screw drivers are thin enough at the blade and strong enough to pry off interior trim. These plastic pieces are too thick at tips to get under trim . And if you possibly do get under, have too much flex and are too short to remove trim. They do not have enough leverage because of the flexing. Screwdriver made from metal do not flex and provide the necessary stiffness to remove a lot of tightly trim affixed in a snap on fashion.Read more

Arrived quickly via Amazon PRIME, just in time for me to work on a few car project’s I’ve been putting off because I never had the right tools. These tools are really worth the few bucks they cost. Great quality and there’s a variety of tools for all angles and panels and pushing in this rubber seal and that plastic tab, etc. I didn’t realize I’d use every one of those tools for my project of installing a rearview camera in my truck. Really sturdy plastic that withstood bending and pulling and pushing. I’ll definitely purchase again as gifts…everyone could use these!Read more

If you work on interiors of cars ever, it these. I have been doing it with screw drivers and crow bars and other stuff for years… basically working like an ape breaking and scratching stuff. Game changer.Read more

I bought this to install a new backup camera on my Subaru forester since, to do that, I have to remove all the internal trim on the hatch as well as one piece of external trim. These tools were great! I’ve tried to remove some trim before with a screw driver or whatever I had around, but the trim was messed up a bit by the effort. With this tool set everything popped off really easily and no marks were made on the trim. After everything was back together you couldn’t even tell I’d removed it! Didn’t even break any of the little molding clips that hold everything on! The end of the tools (particularly the crowbar) did get scuffed/marred a bit from use, but not enough to affect performance or to leave any marks on anything else. For $12 I’d much rather have the tools deform a little than ruin my trim!Read more

These are great tools and well worth the price. I used them to remove the trim in my 2016 Ford F-150 when I replaced the factory door speakers. With a little guidance from YouTube videos, I was able to use these to successfully remove all door panels without breaking a single clip. Additionally, I left behind no scratches or gouges which I previously could not avoid with screwdrivers. I highly recommend this set as it comes with many varieties of tools which are perfect for the many angles and spaces you have to get into to remove some clips.Read more

I have received the tools and they came in handy. Exactly what I needed. However I wish there would have been a tool included for fitting in a tight seam to remove a screw cover. The thinnest tip included in the set broke off when trying to pop off a cover. That would be my only complaint/suggestion.Read more

I wanted to give these 5 stars & maybe they will still work but before I could even get started on my work I tried to use a piece as a wedge, not even as a pry tool, just a wedge & it snapped & jammed right in the car trim. Took several brutal attempts to get it out using the other tools, finally got it out to discover it dented the car trim. I can live with the dented car trim, it’s small enough I’m the only one that would notice but it’s the fact that the piece was only used as a wedge! Now I’m down a tool & haven’t even started working. Really I wanted to give 5 stars but I just can’t now. I know they are plastic but I expected more durability.Read more

I was disappointed the second I opened the box, * Did not come in a box as advertised on the main picture * Tresalto branding nowhere to be found * Very poor workmanship, dents dings all over the place * One of the tool has scratches which look like previously used * Quality of plastic feels extremely light and non-durable I’m willing to change my review if the actual advertised product is sent. I’m very hesitant about using this on my car as I’m afraid the tool may break. Products like this make me not want to buy from amazon.Read more

The quality of the tools is evident when you open up the package. After having used these tools, they do exactly as advertised and do not harm the trim of your car at all. I am really impressed with this purchase and will also think about buying this or recommending this product to others as well. These tools are especially useful for removing plastic trim clips on older cars without breaking them–something which frustrates many fellow auto enthusiasts. Highlights: – good build quality – does as advertized – does not dent plastic trim of your carRead more

So first, I will be returning these. I’ve been looking for a small but halfway decent set of trim tools and figured I’d give these a try 1. These do NOT come in a box, they come in a plastic bag. 2. These are clearly just made from molded plastic. 3. There is no glass or fiber reinforcing material of any kind, which makes these extremely maluable and soft. 4. If you try and use them as a pry tool, they bend so much that you’re likely to snap the tool before removing the trim piece. I would not recommend these.Read more
