   Capture cards are really simple devices. These nifty boxes connect your console to your PC while simultaneously passing a feed to a TV or monitor, allowing you to stream or capture gameplay footage at high resolutions and frame rates while enjoying your game. With the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X pushing resolutions and frame rates higher than ever (not to mention features like HDR), only the best capture cards do the trick. 4K video is very much the new resolution and definition standard that we’re all starting to move across to. For me, if you’re going to get into streaming, then you need something that’s 4K ready. Otherwise, you’ll be stuck with an obsolete capture card in a year or two. Plug and play is the dream that we all aspire to when we unbox a new bit of tech. This capture card was a great example of this because it was up and running in just a couple of minutes. The setup is super simple; so much so that even I could do it! If you don’t want to spend your weekend afternoons reading a 40-page manual on diagnosing a connectivity issue, then this could be the card for you. In my opinion, USB 3.0 is undoubtedly setting the standard for data transfer in today’s market. If you want to ensure that your feed doesn’t suffer due to something simple, then this is the right way to go. I accept no imitations and love the result that this approach yields! Another feature that I like about this capture card is that the connectors are all well made and easy to use. A lot of the time with the audio recording option, even a small scratch on the connector coating will alter things. These are clearly built to last which is great for those of you who are demanding of your tech and give it a hard life!    This card is….a good value for streaming on a dime to your friends. It’s not for me though. This particular gam live pro has washed out cool color tones, it’s generally very dark by default, and this is not really acceptable for someone who streams daily. If you are a regular streamer with any sort of audience that appreciates good picture quality, this really isn’t the device you’re looking for. I spent the better part of the evening trying to color correct this madness and quite frankly I’m done with trying to do that. Time to send it back. Build quality is fine, everything in the box is fine, it’s packaged well, it’s definitely not a cheap Chinese crap item. It would be wonderful to see an sRGB rated version, even for a few bucks more.Read more

   Awesome capture card for live streaming! this card works excellent to live stream gaming on my xbox series x or even on my play station 3! this is a 4K capture card 4K60 HDR pass through! I love that the streams as well as the recordings will be 60 frames per second at 1080p resolution, it is also important to note that all the cables are included, and also one of our fans on the live stream mentioned that the box is so cool that makes is great to be given as a gift! and in fact! this capture card is an excellent gift for those who live stream! a very productive and efficient gift!Read more

   This thing is amazing!! Highly recommend! Don’t waste money on a Avermedia or Elgato, this is what you need! The 4K HDR pass through works good. One issue I did have was with playing fuser (Xbox one X, 4K, HDR). The game displayed on my tv but in OBS the screen went pink, flashed and then solid black after the HDR logo popped up. I don’t believe this was a issue with the card but just how things work. I went into settings, turned off HDR, tried the game again and it worked.Read more

   The capture card isn’t very thick at all it’s surprisingly light weight it’s portable. The quality for what I was using it for was great and sharp for video game capture, with the HDR passthrough unfortunately I had to buy a filter pack on youtube to correct the colors otherwise the colors looked washed out and grey. I had issues when streaming with this but only with audio, every so often I’d have audio cutting in and out just for the game capture. I tried new hdmi cables, a new chat link cable but nothing could fix that issue. Unfortunately I had to return it otherwise this is a great capture card for the price.Read more
