Ok …so I’m no expert installing vinyl tape This photo is 2nd attempt to apply w/o air bubbles & still looks like s#%! The product is exemplary…real quality & visually excellent… So glad it is 30’ so I can keep trying to apply without air bubbles…. This is on the rear horizontal chrome trim of my back bumper ‘19 Grand Cherokee… Will try 1 more time but then gonna have professional install as the air bubbles look very unsightly…. Product is top notch so not complaining one bit…was really reasonable price too… Buy this product. Have a professional install. Would be 5 stars if I could install correctly.Read more

The thickness of this material is great, it should resist scuffs and tears much better than the thin tape on the market. Cleaned the mounted surface with alcohol to get all of the armor all off and the tape is sticking great. Has enough play to adjust it while installing and is a bit forgiving, but once you put it on and press it in place it stays put. Good product.Read more

I thought this was going to have a top layer of film to pull off that would unveil an abrasive skid proof material and I would look like one of those people with a rugged SUV but I was wrong. It looks like a big slippery sticker. Why anyone would put this along their bumper like shown in the picture is beyond me, but to each their own. The stories about installation are true, it’s a pain in the tookis. If you think you’re going to slap this down the first try and it will look gorgeous, you’re wrong. You’re going to come across a never ending battle against straightness and air bubbles, both of which you’ll lose in the end. The best method I found is to have an alcoholic beverage of choice nearby, cut it to size, peel the entire back, lightly fold it to get your point of center, and then ever so slowly and ever so gently nudge it down with your fingers on each side. The old credit card squeegee trick that you can use on your cell phone screen protector will not work. Not sure why..maybe too thick. The only good news is that it is extremely sticky; so you can keep lifting it and readjusting it. I did not use a heat gun, so we’ll see how long it sticks. In the end, you’ll come out with something sorta straight and sorta smooth and wish you spent your money on something better. If I didn’t already cut it all up I would have returned it. However, the alternative is dog nail scratches and shoe scuffs so I’ll *stick* with this for now.Read more

Looks good and sticks well. Much more economical than buying pre cut lengths. Takes care to prevent bubbles. You can use a pin to puncture a bubble then press air out and hold firmly for a count of 3.Read more

Great quality product was a bit of a challenge to apply to my car, but I can say it worked wonders. Should warn you that you should at least have some knowledge about applying and removing adhesive products or watch some YouTube videos on how to apply these products. Other than that it holds really good once apply.Read more

Its wide, you get a lot, peel the plastic off back to install…slowly. I have some air bubbles and creases from teyi g to follow curves. I put small cuts where it curves on inner and outer to aid. Its wide enough you have to fold the outside edge over, I like that. When installing I found only removing so.e of the backing at a time and smoothing it with a stiff plastic cardwas easier. It is removable but not for very long, its really sticky. Its great that I could cover a lot of space to protect the paint. It might add some durability, but its not hard plastic or thick rubber. Definitely thicker than duct tape, need scissors to cut.Read more

This stuff is great, I used it as a scratch guard on the door bars of my roll cage. It’s pretty thick, sticks very well and is extremely durable. It’s not easy to do a severe turn/bend, even with applying heat, but works perfectly for straight runs. Will definitely be buying another roll!Read more

If you sill is flat it may work better for you, but any curves it will make it difficult to install. Not sure about how it can withstand the scuff since it outer material is like thick clear plastic. If only it was not as thick.Read more
