My need for the vapor respirator comes from applying a variety of paints and resins in an indoor setting. The manufacturers of these products recommend a quality respirator and as my last respirator was getting badly scratched and had a broken strap, I chose the UOPASD. The product was shipped promptly from amazon and unboxing was easy. I installed the circular canister as it met the criteria, and it was designed for the vapor mask by UOPASD. The mask did not fog up and I was able to breathe satisfactorily. I was able to remove the mask quickly in the event of an emergency. The test of the mask was to apply a resin to a wooden surface. The resin I applied was not one of the most toxic, but I wanted to check the mask. It performed well and I did not feel the ill effects of trying to apply the resin without proper apparatus.Read more

I liked that it fit well and didn’t fog at all and I got hot and sweaty sanding and finishing floors..the filters it came with were adequate enough for me not to smell stain or polyurethane. It also was more than adequate to keep my lungs safe from all the sanding.Read more
