At the office the company has banned the use of electrical appliances that have not been issued by the company due to insurance policy and building safety. This meant I could no longer have a fan that uses 120v AC at my desk. Since I am on the top floor the building and my cubicle tend to get warm and I get moist then odor. Not pleasant for my cubicle mates. So I searched on amazon for a fan that was under $15 but powerful enough to provide a decent breeze. I did not want to dump $5 on a piece of junk from the Five and below store so I selected this fan based on other buyer photos and opinions. I am shocked that giftable is not one of the criteria that is available to rate five stars. The box is white with beautiful product photos and the 24 degree natural wind logo. It has some pleasant phrases also on the box. This matters to me so that I can purchase additional fans and gift them to other co workers for special occasions. The fan is nice and small square with rounded corners. I can use either a USB power bank or my usb port hub or computer. This way I am not in violation of the rules, even though this may seem passive, this fan is well worth that virutal finger I am sending to the building services team. A nice breeze helps me stay pleasant during the workday!Read more

Exactly what was needed for the warmer evenings at the computer. Strange thing is when it’s plugged directly into your device, computer or laptop it does indeed have 3 speeds. However if you’re piggy backing it off of say a USB bank it only runs 2 of the speeds. Low and Medium. This might be due to said USB hub being stand alone and not having a separate power supply. Not a problem for me. Pretty quiet as well. Keeps one cool and comfortable when you’re stressing about landing a Jumbo manually. I would recommend highly at this pricepoint.Read more

These fans are cheap, and the quality is also somewhat cheap. However, they work well. Well enough that I ordered one, and after using it, I ordered two more. I do not feel these fans will break during use at all, and I feel that the quality of manufacture is greater than the price sold for. The three settings are nice. I use these for laptop cooling. Yes, my CPU fan works, the thermal compound is new and applied properly, etc… I just have a lot on the laptop and it is in a room that gets hot (no AC). These fans have done an amazing job at assisting my laptop’s internal fan with moving the hot air away. I use them inline with the direction the side fan blows, so as the fan expels the hot air, these fans help push it away further so it does not linger. Well worth the price, and I have run there fans 24/7 since received.Read more

It is a fan that does simply what it is meant to do. No special functions or anything innovative to separate itself from all the other desk fans you can buy. It has three positions: slow, medium and fast. On slow and medium, the sound is tolerable, but on fast/highest setting, it is pretty loud, especially if you work in a quiet office environment. Cant beat the price, but not sure if I would purchase it again. Honest truth.Read more

I love this fan. I bought it for my mom. She recently started getting hot flashes, especially at night. I got tired of her turning the heat down or ac on/up. It works great for her. It’s really quiet, so doesn’t disturb anyone else and doesn’t keep her awake. She complained that her previous one was too loud and kept her awake. It’s light weight and easily moved. At night, she sits on the couch, with it on the end table next to her, while she reads her kindle. That tells me it’ll be great for travel too. The battery lasts a long time. She hasn’t actually exhausted it yet. She’s been carrying it around the house with her, untethered. When she goes to bed at night she has it plugged in charging while she’s sleeping. Very compact fan with full range tilt ability and could lay down flat without any danger with its design, as wanted for specific purpose. However, must press button (it isn’t a switch) to turn on and so will not resume fan function if unplugged /power outage/timer regulated. Giving to a friend, as i need one specifically that can run automatically on timer. Apart from that – Seems to move a lot of air for a compact! If it weren’t for the timer issue, it’d be awesome.Read more

I used this item to help circulate air inside a car, since the car is parked out in the desert at temps > 100 F for most of the day and a window fan was not really a good option. It sits on the dashboard and it is powered by a solar cell USB so it would not use the car battery for extended periods of time. It works great and helps to decrease the inside temp a couple of degrees. It can work great as a personal fan on a desk at home or office. I recommend it 100%.Read more

I bought this for my new office job. The room, although spacious, gets very warm with all the running computers. I plugged it in and instantly felt cooler. The first two settings are very quiet while the high setting sounds no different than your average PC fan vibration. My only complaint is that the fan focuses on a singular point and doesn’t oscillate; it would be nice if somehow it pivoted. However, that would raise the cost and probably its noise level.Read more
