I bought a 6 pack of these terry cloth applicators. They apply polish, wax, and sealant as well as can be expected. They fall way short on durability. After one trip through the washing machine, several of them have the seams bursting, causing the stuffing to fall out. So if you’re expecting only one use out of these, they are great. If you’re like me and expect them to hold up for a while, look for another pad.Read more
Just My Opinion…. –
Used with “Daddy Van’s All Natural Unscented Beeswax Furniture Polish”. I bought these buffing pads as they showed up in the side bar when I bought the polish – I use old t-shirts or socks to apply the polish – and these to buff off the extra one the polish has sat for awhile. Very easy to use and do the job well…they just the right size, are padded, so you can really buff quite vigorously without hurting your fingers or the furniture. I haven’t washed them yet, but I think these are the sort of pads that you buy once and then bequeath to your heirs with the furniture. I’m planning to use a clean one when I recondition the leather chairs – they seem to be good for everything, including polishing/buffing silver/copper/brass items.Read more

I wanted to really like these since it was an easy tool to use to topcoat my painted pieces. I used hemp oil and this applicator pad and had lots of lint from the pad stuck in my fresh topcoat. Luckily I used a lint free rag I had to wipe back to excess hemp oil and it did take away some of the lint from the pad. Just beware how hard you apply pressure and saturate these pads when working on projects.Read more

These are exactly what they are advertised to do. So far I have used them to apply wax to the wooden banisters on my stairs. I would recommend taking packing tape to remove lint before using. I washed them in machine inside a lingerie care bag because of the small size. They held up. I did not use the dryer but instead let them air dry. Would recommend!Read more

I used these to stain wood. They are a great size. They wash up nice when using water base stain. They are reasonably priced to toss after using an oil based stain. I will be purchasing these once again.Read more

Perfect item for applying any kind of wax etc. They are extra soft and will last for years if you wash them after every use. They will not scratch the new gel coats on vehicles. I personally prefer the white cotton terry ones over the blue colored pads. I have been using these type of pads for over 40 yearsRead more

Used it for waxing and polishing for detailing my vehicle. Have used two pads now 4 times over and still is in reasonable condition with some lifespan left. Works well for both exterior (wax/polish) and interior (vinyl/leather) applications. I did find some issues with holding grip on the pad, but that’s because it was not designed with a handle or gripping point. This is not unusual or defect, but by design, and for that price is perfectly acceptable.Read more

Bought this for waxing my wheels with rim wax. I thought I was careful and used it normally. To my surprise, I found a tear halfway through my third wheel. This is terribad for quality, unless I got a lemon. It’s literally sold as a wax applicator and it tears on its first use? I wasn’t even abusing it… light strokes wax on, then wait to buff off with microfiber towels. Ehhhhhh. Sorry, it’s not reuseable. I hope this is understandable but this deserves a 1 star from me.Read more
