Love this harness! At least I think my dog does … it’s so soft, has double security features with Velcro AND a buckle, looks great, and fit perfectly! My frenchie is still a puppy at 6 months old and 17 lbs. I bought him a LARGE! Come on people, it is SO important when writing reviews to include the size info!!! I was grateful for those who did. And for those thinking to buy and reading my review, when you buy this (because you should), make sure to leave a review and INCLUDE THE SIZE YOU BOUGHT with info or pictures on your dogs size! :b I will definitely be buying this again when he grows out of his large, if he does. If he doesn’t, I’ll probably buy more in other colors anyway because it looks like it fits him so well! Frenchies have sensitive backs!! For anyone who has a frenchie, dachshund, or other breed prone to back problems, this would be a great harness for them! And it is NOT recommended to walk dogs like this on collars! I bought a medium for my hefty 18 lb cat. It fits well, I think I would have been able to go a size smaller. I gave it one less star because the buckle and everything is a bit bulky for a cat – but it is a harness made mostly for dogs after all. I like the support it gives him though, it’s better than those thinner strap ones for him in my opinion because it pulls less on his joints and especially shoulders. He seems to walk with me more instead of going wherever he wants like he did with his previous Come With Me Kitty harness. I could tell it threw off his balance the first day or so but he got used to it quickly. The front neck area was a bit big for him, allowing him to get out once, but I secured the Velcro in more of a diagonal fashion, tighter near his head, and now he is more secure. I would say go a size down if you are an inch into the next size as I was. The buckle itself is not adjustable, and it would be more helpful and secure if it was (if the harness is a little too big). I love, love, love this cute little harness! I would absolutely recommend it for your dog, especially if you’re buying it for a puppy! My puppy is 10 weeks old, about 10 pounds or so. Her chest is about 15 inches and I bought the small for her. It fits perfectly with enough room to make it tighter, if we want to, or make it looser as she grows. Right now, I keep it sort of right in between tight and loose because that seems to be most comfortable for her. Since she is so young, this was her first time wearing a harness. At first, she was not a fan. But she quickly forgot about it, and now she literally steps right into it for me when I bring it out. I think she actually likes the support and safety it gives her. She’s become a little more adventurous now, so this harness is a big win for me and my girl. Her name is Covi. A couple things to note… the underside of it that touches her fur is more of a neoprene material, but it’s still wicked soft and feels like it would be comfortable if I were forced to wear one as a human (lol!), the outer part is mostly a soft mesh feeling material and the edges are a fleece material. I absolutely love that there is Velcro to close it on her back AND a nice thick buckle for added security. It really makes me feel like there’s no way that thing is coming undone. On top of those two things, you then also have the two silver hooks to attach your leash to, and that has been a nice feature for Covi. Prior to this, I was just using a collar and she could always reach around to chew on the leash that way, so now she can’t even reach it. Overall, I’m just thoroughly impressed. Buy this! I carefully measured my dog and ensured that I ordered the correct size, but when the harness arrived the armholes which cannot be adjusted were either too small or in the wrong place because the edges of the harness there rubbed her armpits and she refused to walk. She has other harnesses and walks fine with them. This is a strange fit. I have returned it but it comes from overseas and since there is no UPS Drop Off near me, I have had to return it my post and I have discovered it comes from overseas and so there is customs declaration, two outside labels etc. Don’t know cost yet! My advice is do not buy this. In future I shall try to ensure items are UK sources on Amazon UK in future.Read more

Ever since I made my first purchase of a Voyager harness when my fur baby was just a pup and living in New York I have been hooked! These harnesses allow my dog full freedom of movement and optimum comfort, whilst ensuring that I have the security I need (with the velcro and clip fastening) any time my dog has to be on a lead. I have this harness in mesh for the summer and plush lined corduroy for winter and they are PERFECT! I love these harnesses so much, I have bought them for friends and families dogs – there really is no one else I trust to provide me with the security and comfort required when walking my dog.
