The waterproof backing is not anti-slip and further the backing is not bonded in such a way to prevent curling under use. This is waterproof and holds a lot of liquid. No complaints on that aspect. Unfortunately the back is kind of shiny not grippy so as my daughter moves around in her sleep the pad moves too. It’s common to find she has peed right on the edge or it has bunched up so the pee gets on the bed. It does wash and dry in the machines well. It just needs some (machine washable and dryable!) grippy strips on the back.Read more

My son is a very heavy sleeper. He has many night time accidents. Even having him wear a pull up or diaper doesn’t always guarantee a dry bed. Often times they leak, I assume because of his age and size and that they don’t make them large enough for his age. This has been so wonderful, so we don’t have to change the bedding in the middle of the night if he leaks. We simply pull the wet one out from under him, and Slide the new dry one in. Since they are so portable, I have also used them on his cot for naps, and if he happens to fall asleep somewhere like my sofa or my bed I can slide it underneath him and not worry about him wetting the furniture. For the most part we have used them in conjunction with a diaper and it has done great to catch leaks, so not sure how absorbent they would be if a ton of liquid was poured on them. I would recommend them to anyone who has a similar situation.Read more

I use these as potty pads for house breaking puppies. They are wonderful. The puppies can’t shred them, and they are very absorbent. Great alternative to the flimsy, disposable pads you buy for puppies.Read more

I bought this for an elder friend dealing with incontinence. I’m told by her caregiver that this is adequate, but rather thin and not nearly absorbent as the RMS brand: RMS Ultra Soft 4-Layer Washable and Reusable Incontinence Bed Underpads, 34″X36″. Since I had 3 different brands shipped to her, and wasted a bunch of money doing so, I thought I’d share the experience so readers could make an informed decision. The other brand that was not great was the Gorilla Grip pads. Yes they are waterproof, but they do not wick away moisture/liquid from the top, resulting in a person staying damp rather than it wicking away. The RMS brand is the best, in the opinion of the caregiver. :)Read more

I am knocking two stars off for materials not being as described. You can see from the picture of the tag that the cover is polyester, the filling is 95% polyester, and the backing is PVC-coated polyester.Read more

I foster young kittens and let them run around the house freely. Top protect our sofa and beds, I have bought quite a few similar pads, true 100% cotton, in all sizes, from some on-line shop that specializing in items of such, for hospitals and nursing homes. They worked well. I have some that are way over 5 years and still soft to the touch and serve the purpose well. I wash and bleach them constantly to keep the smell off. But they are much more expensive compared to these ! However, when the first “accident” by kitten occurred on this one, I could see a pool of water standing in the middle of the pad, not being absorbed at all! when I went to pick it up, I noticed the liquid moving around like water in a plastic plate ! In fact, after carefully folding it up, a few drops of liquid did run out and wet the sofa ! And this was only one “small” mess ! what a mess ! Cheaper to buy a tarp ! I now put it by the entrance doors on raining days for people to leave their wet shoes on !Read more

These washable chucks were the perfect size for my Husky Blue’s dog bed. We used them for when we got him home after he was at the ER Vet. He was still heavily sedated… and had a couple of accidents. I bought the two pack to protect his bed! They worked great and he was comfortable. I would definitely recommend. It says they are good for over 300 washes!
