We bought the Chicken & Carrots as well as the Lamb & Salmon flavors. Our puppy liked both. But we prefer the Lamb & Salmon because it does not leave an oily residue on your hands and does not create a crumbly mess everywhere. It is also very easy to cut into 9-12 smaller chunks to make the bag of treats all that more long lasting. We found the Chicken & Carrots ones to be very crumbly. Because they are so brittle, it’s easy to break into smaller chunks, but that creates a crumbly mess.Read more

A 12 week old Belgian Malinois almost choked on these (twice) while providing these treats during training. I think the crunchiness is not recommended for a puppy. It was so hard to split to make it tinier-like a rock! It is a choking hazard and witness my puppy choking on it. After 3 hours of taking these treats, our puppy threw it all up!!! It made our puppy real sick and had to bring him to the VET. First time our puppy got sick of taking treats like these. I will NOT RECOMMEND for puppies. Buy with extreme caution!!!Read more

I bought these for my new puppy. He won’t touch them. I thought maybe he’s just finicky. I offered it to my daughter’s dog who will eat anything, he wouldn’t touch it either. I tried giving one to my other daughter’s dog. He wouldn’t touch it either! So I tried giving one to my neighbors dogs, all three of them spit them out! That’s SIX dogs that all refuse to eat these so called ‘treats’. Maybe there is a dog out there who likes these, but I’ve been unable to find one yet! My recommendation is…stay away from these!Read more

I did not pay attention to the fact these said crunchy on the bag shown. My puppy refuses to eat hard dry food or treats. I got theses specically because the headline said SOFT puppy chews. Very disppointed…just going to toss. Not worth returning, but you seller should consider changing the headline. I searched for soft chews and these came up. Just thought I was choosing a flavor.Read more

I used to use smaller soft treats for my puppy’s training. He loves food, and soft ones were gone from his mouth in one second. So, I found this “Crunchy” veggie and carrots – he enjoys chewing each bite 🙂 also this is super useful when I need to distract him putting jackets booties on him as he takes time to chew. My pup is 15 weeks old Cavalier. He approved !!!Read more

I have been using these for several months, but the last batch I got was so hard that I could not crush them like I am used to doing so my dog does not swallow them whole. I was getting these through a subscription, but I stopped my subscription after this last batch. I tried to soften them with water like I have done with other treats I have gotten that are too hard, but they became moldy within a few days. So the quality was not bad when I first started getting them, but went down hill drastically this last time. Be warned.Read more

These are great size treats that I think could work for puppies of all breeds. I have a 4 month old dachshund currently who loves both the crunchy and the soft bite variety of these and currently these are the only treats we are feeding her while she is so young. We also used the soft bites for our chihuahua as a puppy and have the adult version for her as well, so it’s safe to say these have been treats we have trusted with our fur kids for 5+ years. The dogs seem to really enjoy the flavor although my only small issue is that for my smaller breed dogs I think the crunchy variety is a bit too bit to be used as a “training treat” while the soft bites can be broken up in smaller pieces the crunchy kind cannot be done so with ease. I would recommend these for pups!Read more

My puppy loves these treats he’s a german shepherd and the first time I gave him these were when he was 7 weeks old and he loved them. He starts listening and paying attention right when he sees the bag. I use these to teach him commands and he listens and learns. At the pet store they have those treats out in the open but he won’t eat those. So idk if he’s a picky dog or not but I do know he loves these. These are the only ones I have tired.Read more

My mistake for not checking the size of the bag – paid about £15 for a tiny 120g bag, assumed it was a big sack because of the price and I was in a bit of a rush, chose it based on the reviews. Reason for poor review: 1. Totally overpriced for what it is 2. Dog not really interested in it as they’re just like small biscuits. He’s much more interested in the ‘wetter’ type of snacks we got later (Harrington’s) which also do not have cereal – which was the main criteria for the snacks I was looking for. Incidentally, Harrington’s grain free snack baked 100g for £1 much more value for money and much sought after by my dog.Read more

In puppy training there are 4 grades of treats. 1. RECALL – The very best treat reward … because a recall *must* work to save a nasty incident so tends to be fresh chicken or ham or cheese 2. Training – When you want to reward new and good behaviour in the early days 3. Standard treats that are there for normal trained behaviours like checking in or mat training 4. Low value … dog will often turn his nose up. These fall between the 2-3 level. Puppy likes them and will work for them but soon becomes boredRead more

Our puppy loves these, but would be useless for teething as she snorts them down, not sure she does more than one chew, downgraded for longevity, as again they are NOT a teething biscuit to last, However, we use them for training and this they are excellent, small, easy to chew, and great taste, she will do anything for them.Read more

My Puppy is super picky when it comes to treats, but she loooves these! She’s almost 10 months, and I’ve probably spent hundreds on treats trying to see what she likes, and she’ll usually sniff whatever I give her, and then walk away. But these?! She sniffs them, and gobbles them up! Yay! HOWEVER, the price for these on Amazon is almost triple the normal price in stores. I first bought them on Amazon just to see if my puppy would like them, and once I realized that she does, I tried to see if any of my local pet stores have them… so far, none of them do unfortunately, but I did find some Canadian online sites that sell them and offer delivery, and they’re about $5 bucks a pack, which is a huge difference from what I paid for it on Amazon. Just wanted to give a heads up! Also, not all dogs are the same, and not all dogs will have the same reaction to a treat as another dog. The review about someone’s dog getting diarrhea from these treats – not every dog will have the same reaction to these treats. For example, my dog has not had one negative thing happen to her from these treats, and absolutely loves them. If your puppy is picky like mine, it doesn’t hurt to grab a pack of these and just test them out.Read more
