For around $80, this faucet is a great buy. We decided to upgrade our laundry room sink and didn’t want to spend $300++ on a decent looking faucet, like we did for our kitchen. Time will only tell if the quality of this faucet will make it last, but initially it appears at least on par with the more expensive brands in terms of fit and finish. So, here’s what you dont get at this price: 1. Factory connections were loose. After reading a few complaints that this faucet leaked upon hookup, I made sure to check the factory connections. To my standards, they were loose. So, I made sure to tighten them BEFORE installation. Easy to do, took 2 minutes. Don’t over torque, just snug them up a bit. Impossible to tighten afterwards without removing the whole faucet. 2. The configuration of the faucet cold/hot lines has the handle oriented to provide hot water when pulled forward and cold when pushed back (with handle to the right of faucet, facing faucet). This is backwards for standard conventions. So, I reversed the cold/hot connections to correct. Your call on as to preference, but I like consistncy in my house. 3. On the more expensive faucet, we have a magnetic catch to help capture the retractable end. This model doesn’t have it, but seems to seat nicely if you get the weight adjusted decently. Not a feature worth the extra money, if you ask me. 4. The mounting nut seems a bit on the less thsn durable side as well. Its a metal nut with a plastic shroud to help tighten. It worked fine, but it seems on the cheap side comparitively speaking. If need be I can upgrade it at a hardware store in the future. 5. The instructions were just ok. I’ve done a few of these installs, so they worked fine for me, but weren’t great if you need detailed step by step. Otherwise, the spray buttons seem to work (again, long term??? we shall see) and the water shuts off almostly instantly. Metal finish appears similar as the more expensive brand as well. Some spare parts were also included as well. Nice, but I hope thats not a sign of what to expect in the future. If you want to save some serious money and dont mind a bit of a gamble on long term quality, I would highly recommend. If I had it to do over, I wouldn’t hesitate putting this faucet in our kitchen. It doesn’t look cheap at all. Perfect for real estate upgrades as well. TIP – If you have the option, install the faucet BEFORE you mount the sink. SOOOO MUCH EASIER than playing cabinet twister for about an hour. Good luck and God Bless. Hope this helps a few folks.Read more

I’m very picky, do lots of research and tend to go for name brands and never the bottom of the line, hence I did some pretty thorough research before adding this unknown-to-me brand name to my shortlist of well known brands of similar design at more than double or three times the cost. Two other concerns: 1. A few reviews mentioned the pull down didn’t retract and snap back into place properly, left dangling. That’s actually an installation issue. There is a weight that needs to be adjusted, which is pretty easy, then it works perfectly. 2. Color – the photos showed it to be more like a brushed stainless steel grey color, but it’s made from brushed nickel, which can have a warm, brownish color that I was concerned wouldn’t match my SS appliances. I couldn’t find any reviews mentioning that aspect or in the questions, so I posed the question myself and received great replies assuring me it did not have the brownish color and would work well with stainless steel appliances. That proved to be good advice, thank you to those folks who took the time to answer my question, I was not disappointed. This is a solid quality product, the design with the pull down and spray feature is wonderful, my sinks have never been so clean! The only thing I can’t speak to is the longevity because it’s only been a month, but as most kitchen faucets, it’s in constant use, and I have no reason to think it won’t last the same as the more expensive brands. Great choice, go for it, save the $, I’m happy to recommend with 5 stars.Read more

I have owned a Wewe A1001L faucet for quite some time. It started to develop a small but annoying dripping at the pull down sprayer. I asked for help to Wewe customer service. Basically I wanted to know how to take apart this faucet. I naively thought I needed to replace a failing seat washer but was not sure how to take the faucet apart. I sent an email to Wewe at an address found on their web site. To my surprise, my email brought the best support I have ever experienced from any vendor. First, I guided was to troubleshoot the issue with a rapid response. Following identifying the failure, I was immediately sent a replacement cartridge by air from Hong-Kong. The package included all necessary parts and even a tool. Instructions with how-to photos came via email. Replacing the failed cartridge took a few quick and easy minutes. I am sincerely impressed by the support Wewe provided The backup provided for their product has been outstanding, the best I have experienced from any manufacturer. I am an engineer and have dealt with numerous manufacturers over the years, regardless of the cost and complexity of equipment, this was the best support a manufacturer could provide. Thank you Wewe for this exceptionally quick and graceful support.Read more

I have had this faucet for a few months now. The spray is circular as opposed to some of the more high end units that angle the nozzles so that the spray makes a line. This was a drawback, but I knew about it before I purchased it. The unit looks great, good water pressure on both the regular and spray. You don’t have to hold the spray button down like some other models which is a bonus. My one and only complaint is that the stop water button sticks. I use this feature all the time and is really annoying. About half the time I push the button the water stops, but the button doesn’t spring back out when I let go (not even when I turn the water off). I have to pry it back out with a knife to get the water started again. Beyond just being frustrating this leads to little scratches on the nozzle. Also, it’s stop or go – nothing in between. The higher end units let you use the button to moderate the amount of water that comes out – push the button all the way in and it stops completely, let go a little and a little water comes out. All said and done, I think it’s good value and would recommend this (with that one caveat).Read more

We need to replace our existing kitchen faucet. Even though reviews outside of Amazon rated other brands better than this one, the Amazon reviews suggested this was at least as good a product. And since we may end up renovating again within the next 5 years, I just couldn’t justify spending nearly twice as much on a better known brand. This faucet did not disappoint. I did not install it (needed a professional to remove our previous faucet) so I can’t speak to that aspect of it, but it looks good and functions superbly. Agree with others that the stream can be pretty strong, but you learn to adjust. It’s also not quite brushed stainless steel, so if a 100% match is important to you, you may want to look elsewhere, but it’s pretty close (maybe just a bit glossier, if that makes sense). Anyhow, highly recommended product.Read more

This kitchen faucet is definitely worth the money. The quality is very good quality, mostly made of stainless steel. The pull out head is plastic, but it matches the steel exactly. The installation instructions are very clear and helpful. No issues so far. Only one very minor detail is when the shower head mode is used, it’s almost too strong in my sink and splashes back a bit. Just have to dial it back a bit in that mode. But I think most people would find that a good thing. Maybe my old faucet was blocked up with corrosion and I actually do have good water pressure. yay.Read more

Removed my 10 year old faucet which was very similar in design only more expensive ($200) and not nearly as solid feeling. This thing feels quality, the instructions are very clear. A few extra parts are included (washers, a tiny hex bolt, hex key, a couple aerator screens). On the whole it looks very promising. Installed today (March 4, 2021) so cant speak to reliability yet. I’ll try to do a follow up review in 6 months and a year.Read more
