This controller has the same shape as the M30 from 8bitdo. Almost like the 6-button Genesis controller. The d-pad is plastic instead of rubber coated. It feels pretty good for 2D games. The buttons are pretty snappy and have nice feedback. The 4 trigger buttons are really cheap feeling and too clicky. The analog sticks are the same ones you’ll find in a lot of these cheap Chinese controllers. Very small deadzone. The biggest flaw is the button layout. It’s a reversed Sega 6-button layout. It could be great for fighting games but two of the face buttons are a turbo button and the capture button. This makes no sense. They should have been trigger buttons. Why would someone design it like this? A turbo button is pretty useless and the capture button could’ve been placed in the middle. You can’t remap the turbo button in the Switch options. It’s basically an unused and useless button. It has rumble but it’s way too strong. Gyro controls work ok. It does not have the Amiibo reader thing but I could care less for that. It also will not wakeup the Switch from sleep mode. This could’ve been a great controller. The just need to change the face buttons and use different triggers. I wish someone would make a Sega Saturn style controller with analog sticks. If you’re looking for a Sega type controller, stick with the 8bitdo M30 or the Retrobit Saturn controllers.Read more

This controller is very nostalgic and a great budget controller. It reminds me of an old Sega Genesis controller but wireless. The D pad is wonderful so are the analog sticks and buttons. Itās build quality isnāt as bad as I initially thought. (I had to get a replacement and it feels much better) In connection with set up it worked just like any regular or third party pro controller. My only problem is with the hd rumble feature it is way too loud for my taste. Fortunately I bought this pro controller to play nostalgic video games which most of which do not feature rumbling. If you are looking for ergonomics and a superior build quality and are not on a budget this controller is not for you. Simply put if youāre looking for a nostalgic Sega Genesis style budget controller ( the three button to rows layout) that is Bluetooth and can hook up to your computer and has most of the features of the a pro controller this controller is for you. * Just a simple update… 10/11/20 Within one day of using the controller my L trigger broke but I promptly got another one and have had no problems with it. I also must mention it is hard to get the turbo button to work and not all the buttons are mappable on the switch so that is actually a problem for me. I will still give the product five stars as a budget controller. If you have more to spend there are better controllers out there. If not this actually works great for the money.Read more
