Unfortunately, I didn’t see the reviews about sizing being men’s. The smallest size offered is Medium. They are too big for me, usually a women’s small but sometimes women’smedium. I think these are men’s sized. Also, when I opened them, they smelled awful – like stinky fish! I put them outside to air out and it helped some. Hopefully they’ll get better with more airing. If not, it’ll be a waste of time & money and I’ll go back to Gardeners.com to reorder theirs that “fit like a glove.” UPDATE: After airing out, the smell went away completely, thankfully. The fit was definitely manageable, but still wish there was a small size. Changed rating to 4 stars.Read more

I am an avid gardener. I thought these looked great. I was disappointed for several reasons: 1) The material that the gloves are made from is a loose weave. I thought it would be nice and breathable, however, after weeding for a few minutes the dirt started getting through to the inside. I took the gloves off and my fingers were covered in soil. I wear garden gloves to keep my hands clean, and I prefer gloves that do not let the dirt get inside. 2) The dirt that had entered the gloves began rubbing on my fingers, causing blisters on my thumb, forefinger, and ring finger. It was painful and something I’ve never had happen with other gloves. 3) The latex grip is not very ‘grippy’ and is especially slippery when wet/damp. 4) The latex cracked and broke down on the first use. I returned these glove and would not buy these again. They seem like a bargain but you get what you pay for.Read more

I ordered these when Covid-19 descended on our community. I have used, washed and reused these daily when disinfecting. I highly recommend them. They are durable and easy to wash and put back in a disinfecting station. I ordered two sets and then I always have enough each day, no matter how many rounds of disinfecting I have to do. I also just grab a fresh pair to bring in mail, deliveries and boxes. We have two people with multiple health conditions and 3 teens at home depending on us. All the folks next door got sick, one died within days. Vigilance has been important and these reusable gloves have been a godsend.Read more

My mom needed gloves for outdoor gardening. She’d go through about a pair a year. Now, with these, I can’t keep buying her the same gift on Mother’s Day ever year. WOW. THANKS. >: Really, these gloves are very nice. The material is very soft to the touch, but very durable. I know she’s used them the entirety of this summer and she’s still using the first pair in the kit. These’ll probably last her awhile and she gardens very very frequently. I’d definitely recommend.Read more

I first ordered large as that is my most usual size. Not with these, the large was too large to be comfortable. I sent them back and reordered medium. And of course the medium is too tight. Can hardly get them on, and almost impossible to get them off easy. I usually then continue to use my Harbor Freight gloves.Read more

I’ve been using my first pair for a little over a month doing some fairly heavy duty gardening (especially trying to dig out a mess of lilies that have overrun a portion of one garden). The gloves are sturdy and stand up well and, with the rubber coating on the palm and fingers, you have good protection from mud and wet. That also can cause heat to build up a little as they don’t ventilate like a cloth glove would but that is not a real problem. Very reasonable price for six pairs.Read more

I really glad I ordered these gloves even though it’s a WHOLE LOT of gloves at once for me. But, I think they’re going to be great for trimming bushes & vines, pulling weeds and using gardening tools. I wear out most “ladies” gloves so quickly when I am really working outside. They’re going to be great carrying firewood from porch to inside house. I showed one of my daughters the gloves (We were going to clip satsumas and lemons.), and she loved them so I have her a set. She needs them also for gardening, pulling weeds, etc., buts does a lot of furniture refinishing also. I Think she’ll ask for another pair in a month or two. My husband, I think, will enjoying the gloves also, as he handles lumber a lot, and also works outside on our ten acres.Read more

I garden 20 acres and these have held up like troopers! Not a single pair has ripped yet and they’re being used for heavy stuff and light gardening every day. Well worth the money. They’re waterproof on the palm but because the back of the hand is knit, not so much. That’s ok for me though – that way they’re not so hot.Read more
