They definitely didn’t not, they are not worth anything. both of the badge clips brook with a couple of weeks. They don’t stay clipped to my pants, they are heavy and the wire inside shredded and stopped winding into the badge. They are actually worse than the plastic clips I used in the past. I started using this 3 months ago. The wire inside has plastic around the wire and it started peeling. The plastic gets stuck when pulled or when trying to reel it in. It only lasted 3 months and I need to replace it. I bought it specifically for durability. Would not buy again and I do not recommend it.Read more

For years, I had used cheap plastic retractable badge holders, but inevitably the thin string would fray and break. I ordered these as an alternative. They are heavy and the cord is actually metal wire. I’ve been using it for several months now and continue to be impressed. (They come with additional carabiner rings which I have not used.)Read more

Both of them broke in under a week with very light use. And both times I almost lost my keycard. They seem very high quality on the outside, but there is a big fundamental flaw with the stability of how the actual clip attaches to the wire. It’s held together by a single hand tied knot in the string. TL;DR: Both of mine broke and ended up in the garbage in under a week with very minimal use.Read more
