I ordered this Xbox One Controller rechargeable battery pack set from Hixon and on the first arrival, the chip within the charger wouldn’t detect the battery charge and begin charging. Later it seemed to kick in and work, but not at first as the way the manual described, indicating to me a bad “motherboard” chip within to be the most likely of causes. I reached out to the company with an e-mail utilizing the one they provided, but I never received a response that I am aware of! Thankfully Amazon Customer Service responded immediately and sent me another one to replace the bad one. This time it worked exactly as described in the manual, the lights turning red upon battery placement as expected and charging to full within a few hours (unlike the other, defective one that wouldn’t charge them for days at first). It’s a great budget charger set of batteries with higher capacity, but buyer beware! …as apparently there is a 50% chance you will receive a defective one that doesn’t work right! I still would recommend this, though, as long as if upon purchase the item doesn’t work as described, you contact customer support for a new replacement one!Read more

I didn’t like that only one of the batteries worked. When I received the batteries, I charged them up. The battery slot that worked, had a red light indicator that turned green when it was charged. The battery that didn’t work had an indicator that was green the whole charge. I tried charging it by itself, in the other slot, with the same results. They try to bribe you with another battery, if you write a review. I prefer to not mislead. One peeve that I, have for the one that did work, is that, you can put the battery in four different orientations but it will only work in one. Yeah, I tried all four orientations on the one that doesn’t work. Come on, man.Read more

I would honestly give this product a 4.5 star review if I could but only because it doesn’t show that the battery is fully charged when it definitely is. I had this battery last several days each. This was with at least a 5 or 7 hour gaming session each with moderate rumble from racing games.Read more

Bought it for my husband since he wanted to stop using the AA batteries. Not only is it affordable, but it works! Last long. We used the first one for days (maybe even weeks) and it has yet to die on us. Light on the charging box is accurate to the packaging. Customer service was great too! Been using these daily since I purchased them month back, no complaints yet. Easy to just switch them out and charge as needed. I just plug the base into the xbox directly via the usb and keep them close for swithcing out. Good purchase if you dont like having to plug in your controller to charge the batteries or charge the controller itself.Read more

I recently purchased an Xbox One controller without realizing that it required batteries instead of having a rechargeable battery pack. The controller itself consumes a lot of AA batteries. The Hixon was a money saver and the battery lasts for hours on a full charge and it come with a secondary battery, so that I can pause and use the second one without missing a beat.
