I am a fairly prolific consumer of various kinds of caffeinated toothpicks. Every so often I will check to see what is out in the market so I am fairly confident I have tried pretty much everything. These Xero “Berry Blast” caffeine toothpicks have quickly become a favorite for a few reasons, and I have been through 5 tubes of them now. First and most importantly is the effect that the toothpick has. I think the description calls it “mouth tingle”. To me it feels like an intense mouth vibration. This is great for me because it is a rapid, unmistakable, and strong feedback. As the sensation carries on, there is a mild numbing effect, which isn’t enough to make your mouth droop like after a visit to the dentist, but enough to take the edge off a mild toothache. It is by far the strongest physical reaction I’ve had from an “energy” toothpick. These aren’t wet like most of the others I’ve tried, and I don’t know what effect that has on the caffeine, or how much each pick contains. Unfortunately, I am tolerant enough to caffeine that I probably wouldn’t consciously be able to tell the difference, but I suspect with how I can substitute these for my regulars that the caffeine is within the ballpark. The feeling they generate is definitely energetic. Second, and what makes these quite a good value despite the high-ish price, is the quality. If you’ve used any toothpicks before you know that durability is a huge problem in general. This is especially true with most of the wet kind of caffeine picks that I am used to; all of the quality control problems of normal toothpicks compounded by the fact that they have had liquid forced into them under pressure. I don’t know exactly what these are made of, but it is 3 times as thick at least compared to average toothpicks, and it is dense and fibrous. These things are absolute beasts. I like to bite on the end of a toothpick, and these can easily go an hour at my normal level. If I go gentle on them, I have had times where I’ve had to put one aside to take a meal break or something. The durability of these are simply unprecedented in my experience. The longevity of the pick raises the question about the longevity of the chems. In a pleasant surprise, they seem to last just about as long as the pick, and when they start to run down you can bite on the pick to get the goodness that is inside. These are heavy in my regular rotation and they are here to stay. I even ordered one of the non-caffeine flavors this time around to try those out. I am (unfortunately) not sponsored, compensated, or offered any free product for this review. I found these myself and have never had any direct contact with the company. 100% recommend them.Read more
I have an autoimmune disease that causes horrible dry mouth. I was chewing on tea pick which did not help these are awesome. They made my water and have taken the dryness away for a long time. Only issues is that if your not use to the ingredient xyl however you spell it you may have bowel issues.Read more

Good quality pick. Above average thickness. Holds up very well when chewed. Flavor intensity is there, I was not crazy about the pink lemonade flavor. So so.Read more
These were more of a curiosity purchase but I’m sold. They are tasty and pack quite a zing. Great as a stocking stuffer or a change of pace from traditional toothpicks. I was pleasantly surprised at how long the flavor lasted too!Read more

Sweet tasty toothpick, but I don’t taste lavender tho. The flavor is sweet and lasts a long time.Read more
Unfortunately these taste disgustingly like overpowering fake sugar and made me nauseous. The wood also wasn’t very good quality, the cost for quantity is definitely not worth it.Read more

Tingle is numbing, and took getting use to. Quality toothpicks, and a help when quitting smoking.Read more
Bought these as an aid to quit smoking as I had previously used toothpicks before, these far exceeded my expectations. Last time I quit a long while ago I used a patch, picks and nic lozenges. This time I don’t need the lozenges and I think even after a few days I could cope without the patch as these are so satisfying, I bought a few different flavours and they all taste great, the added tingle is an under statement it makes your whole mouth buzz in a way I have never experienced before. Each pick lasts me about 45 to 60 mins.Read more

The taste is… different, the tingle is…interesting, the smell is… weird. The Pink Lemonade Brain Boost confused my mouth. It tastes fake (though it only uses natural flavours), not tangy like lemonade, more like the aftertaste of those lemonade-flavoured vitamin drinks, with a slight metallic tingle. The taste became more enjoyable over time. The tingle is not unpleasant, which is good because it lasts. The quality of the wood is pretty good, it didn’t splinter even when biting down on it. A little overpriced for 20 toothpicks, and I’m waiting to see if my brain is feeling boosted at all. Update: some picks give more of an immediate tingle and have more flavour than others (in the same package). Also, the ones with the strongest flavour seem to splinter more than the mild ones, and most so far have splintered before the flavour was gone. Maybe a bit of quality control. They do help with dry mouth, still not sure about brain boosting. I’ve bought 3 flavours, and don’t really notice much of an affect, other than tingling. The orange Immunity ones taste most like the flavour they’re supposed to be. The lavender mint tastes like weird juice with a mild aftertaste of mint, and sometimes a hint of lavender. I think I’d prefer to chew gum/mints than suck on some splintering wood and not be sure if I’m getting all the ingredients before the wood splinters too much. If you really like toothpicks, then they’re okay.Read more
Read more
Non sono male, il sapore mi piace, ma trovo il tipo di legno troppo morbido, e lo stecchino troppo grosso quindi sono contenta di averli comprati, ma dubito che li ricomprerò. In ogni caso la curiosità è stata appagata.Read more
