I use a lot of envelopes for business, and thought I would save a few dollars and try these. Here are my thoughts. PROS – Cheap – Actually 6 inches by 9 inches – Solid box for storage – Lightweight CONS – Super thin and can see orders through the envelope – The adhesive is my biggest complaint. It appears some of the adhesive got too hot leaving residue over other envelopes. A big mess to try and remove. Lost a handful that were stuck together. – The crease isn’t quite deep enough making it difficult to bend the tab part down for closing. Conclusion: I will spend a few dollars extra for an easier to use envelope.Read more

Immediately I could tell something was off about these envelopes after opening the box and just feeling one. The paper they use is really thin and smooth. It’s approx .11mm thick, and feels different than other envelopes I’ve used. To compare it against other envelopes in my office… Quality Park white catalog envelopes use paper that’s .17mm thick, and Amazon Basics catalog envelopes paper is .14mm thick. The envelopes are also lighter because of this, at around 16.5grams. Because the paper is so thin, you can see through it. Which for me is unusable. Another thing I noticed was how gigantic the flap is. It’s a good half inch longer than Quality Park and Amazon Basics, which is not a good thing in my opinion. It provides a larger gap for something to snag on the flap and rip it open. The seal strip is adequate but not the best. It’s about half the thickness of Quality Park’s adhesive strip. These envelopes are low quality, and incidentally some of the cheapest ones on Amazon. Go figure, you get what you pay for.Read more

We shipped 2500 of these individually around the world just last month. I own a commercial printing company and we use these to ship periodicals to over 15 countries. Aside from the “HITH QUALITY” spelling error on the boxes, they actually are high quality. We’ve had issues with other envelopes ripping in the mail, and these did not disappoint. As a professional, buy these envelopes. We’ve tested them thoroughly and will continue to purchase them from now on.Read more

These are not twice as thick as any paper catalog envelopes in existence. I will not order them again. Way thinner than the product I usually buy. If someone lies to my face I would usually give them a hard time to theirs, but this is the best I can do over the ‘net. Edit- they took down the “twice as thick” claim. Still, my review reflects the honesty of the listing I encountered.Read more

These envelopes are for flyers we used to fold and staple and mail for our small club, we now must send in envelopes because the USPS new automated sorting machines shred stapled flyers. it gets caught in their machines. so we were told either use envelopes or use tape. The USPS, a typical government monopoly entity with ever increasing rates and ever decreasing reliable service.Read more

Overall these were pretty good mailers, nice quality paper and they sealed well. The flap however was scored the wrong way so it made it really difficult to fold them over to seal. Other than that they worked well..Read more

I appreciate these are envelopes. 98% of them are ok…but some are scuffed at the edges and damaged. I can use them, yes. But is this the level of care we can now expect?Read more
