Works great Actually sobbed when I thought my XBox One died. My son advised me to get this cord, as he had gotten it to replace his. Super fast shipping. Arrived next day. Easy install, matching the OEM power pack. Came with the power pack and the cord to plug into wall. Noise level is about the same as the OEM part, maybe a little quieter. Back to gaming in one day. Very happy with purchase. Thank you!Read more

Disclaimer I have not used this product yet. After reading reviews I decided to still purchase this power supply. The first thing I did upon arrival was compare it to my OEM power supply that is currently inop. The form factor is as near a match as can be expected, nearly indistinguishable. The big difference is where the vents are on the OEM are clearly vents, on this product they are only for show. The areas on the side and dc output do not go all the way through the casing, only having usable vents on the AC input side. So I removed the rubber feet, and opened the casing. There is a single fan, again for that single vent which apparently doubles as inflow/outflow. Further there is glue holding various connectors in place. This appears to match up with why some have given poor remviews, as it looks to be made for either optimal conditions or to be replaced every 6months. Additional in it manual it arrived with gave warnings of high nose due to the easy on mode. Basically this device cannot tell when the xbox is in use or not, so advise to unplug when not in use…which removes several convenient features of the xbox. Guess its better than buying a new xbox, but be mindful what you are getting. If I remember, will update after I get some use out of it.Read more

ITS SO QUIET. I got lucky and this delivery came early. I didn’t have to go a long time without my Xbox. It’s only been a little over a week but it works perfectly. I’ll leave another review in a few months. Edit: 5/10/2020 I notice my Xbox turns itself on. So I have to leave it unplugged which isn’t bad for my electric bill but scary in the middle of the night. It also occasionally makes a loud noise when it’s starting up but doesn’t last. Edit: 5/15/2020 It’s now a fire hazard. It buzzed and shut my Xbox down. I tried turning it back on and it made a continuous sizzling sound.Read more

I have an original xbox one, the big square block ones and the power would come on and immediately cut off every few months. It would go away, then come back a few months later and finally I searched around for a new power brick. The microsoft branded one at gamestop was about $50, and then I came across this one, read the good reviews and took the chance. It arrived within 3 or 4 days (prime, but still super fast shipping) and fixed the issue entirely. Now I can get back to gaming, netflix etc without worrying about down time and losing power randomly. No noise complaints, just unboxed it, plugged it into the xbox and power outlet and my problem was fixed entirely. Definitely give this a chance if you are having issues like I did, just check the pics and make sure the connection matches. 10/10 for meRead more

The general rule of thumb is to avoid aftermarket or third-party power supplies. But after my Xbox One’s power supply unexpectedly and suddenly died, I needed a solution and fast. So, upon reading all the excellent reviews, I decided to take a chance and buy this replacement power supply. Big mistake. First up, the noise. It’s not outrageously loud or anything like that. However, it is significantly louder than my original power supply (even more so when playing a game). This product is definitely not “low noise” as advertised. More importantly, the ventilation design is shoddy. I’m shocked almost no reviews mention this. The original Xbox One power supply has multiple intake vents and exhaust ports so the fan inside can push air through it to keep everything at a safe temperature. This replacement power supply only has a SINGLE shared intake/exhaust port. This was the biggest surprise to me because like you, I can clearly see multiple air vents in the product pictures. But these vents are faux vents. Upon closer inspection in person, all but one of these intake/exhaust ports are for show. In hindsight, this is obviously done to look like an original power supply but without any of its cooling capabilities. This means that regardless of the fan inside, this replacement power supply will run hotter over time which results in a shorter overall lifespan. Summary: While this power supply replacement will provide you with a cheap & quick fix, don’t expect it to last long. You’d be better off trying your luck with a used OEM power supply, finding a cheap Xbox One S, waiting for the Xbox Series X, or if you have the skills & tools… repair it yourself.Read more

So far so good. This power supply is not loud, only gets warm and not hot. I searched through many different power bricks on the market and many had horror stories of super loud fans, melting, and even catching fire. I have no concerns so far with this power supply and its probably the only one I found that did not have any bad reviews. After 1.5 weeks of heavy use there are no problems. Recommended!Read more

Let’s face it, when your teenager can’t play Xbox because the 4 year old original power supply dies – it’s an emergency. Ordered this online, it cam next day and saved my son’s weekend. When your original Xbox One power supply finally dies, this is the best route to go. Works perfectly, is quiet as a mouse and is basically identical to the Xbox One power supply. This came with both the power brick, the 220v cord and the attached Xbox One power plug. These are $50 used at GameStop and over $75 new online via Microsoft. Highly recommended, excellent product…..Read more

After several months of owning this product, we noticed it has been making a buzzing sound which is annoying. It doesn’t happen all the time but sometimes when the XBox has been on a long time. I still appreciate being able to buy this product online at Amazon. I would downgrade my rating a four because of the buzzing situation. : )Read more

Bought it in July, started using it in like October-November, and a few days ago it started making a lot of noise when I turn it on, it’s incredibly annoying. I have to wait at least 30 min before it stops doing the noise… I bought it specifically because it was advertised as something that wouldn’t make noises, so I’m really disappointed.Read more

I am Always a little skeptical to order an unbranded product but my sons Xbox power stopped working we decided to give this one a try, and to our pleasant surprise it works great! Cannot comment on longevity but if it buys us another year or two with the Xbox before having to throw out the system I am happy. Would definitely recommend!Read more

My Xbox One refused to turn on after I moved and Xbox Support told me it was the console itself and that I should upgrade to the newest console. I decided to try a new power brick first and this completely solved my problem. Xbox turns on and runs with no issues whatsoever. Seems almost exactly the same as the original power supply in size and weight. I have not noticed much noise when the Xbox is on, and when it is off there is virtually no sound at all. Very happy with this!Read more
