I have to give credit where credit is due – this protector has a lot of what people look for in a good screen protector. The application tray makes it very easy to apply, and the adhesion only on the side means no bubbles form between the protector and the screen. Additionally, I never had any problems with the protector breaking or falling off due to the minimal side adhesive, like other reviewers have reported. I was VERY careful to clean the sides of the screen during the application process and press firmly on the curved edges of the protector, so that may have had something to do with me not experiencing those issues. The screen itself does pick up some fingerprints over time (I’ve found I need to wipe it off a couple times per day), but it isn’t an absolute fingerprint magnet like other protectors I’ve tried. It is slightly reflective, but it’s not terrible when the screen is on, and it can still be used in the sunlight. There is a dot matrix, but it’s very minimal and can’t really be seen with the screen on, which I appreciated. I had my screen sensitivity increased before I applied the protector, so I can’t really say whether or not the screen sensitivity decreased with this product. Lastly, the protector is compatible with my Otterbox Defender-style case. Now on to the bad – when I first received this protector, I noticed the very top of my screen was cut off by the black bar, despite it being perfectly aligned on the bottom. I also noticed the side adhesive formed a solid line on both sides of my screen that was not disappearing over time. Obviously these aren’t huge issues, but they did grow to be quite annoying over time, especially while trying to watch videos. I hadn’t seen any other reviews mentioning these issues, so I assumed maybe the product I received was defective somehow. I requested another product from the seller and returned the original one. Unfortunately, the second protector I received had the exact same issues. I was very disappointed by this and quite surprised, considering no other Amazon reviewers have reported these problems. I’ve attached a picture of the top portion of my screen, although the lines aren’t as visible in the picture as they are in real life. Since I had these issues twice with two different protectors, I don’t believe they were due to user error. Overall, I wouldn’t buy this protector again, and I won’t be recommending it to anyone.Read more

This is my 2nd Zagg screen protector same with my girlfriend, ours have lasted over 2 years(Pictures are of our 1st Zagg screen protectors). I highly recommend this cover, they charge $49.99 at best buy and they are exactly the same. Zagg makes it way to easy to install yourself with a plastic mould that fits over your phone so the screen protector placement is perfect! They also fit otterbox cases very snug,the first zagg cover i had did pop off once when i dropped my phone on a hard impact in my otter box case but i was easily able to just put it back on and has stayed sealed for a long time. Coming from someone who originally payed 49.99 for this when i bought my note 9 brand new at best buy, $9.50 is stupid inexpensive for how well this is made and has protected my phone over the years. I have also dropped my phone face first on concrete and it did crack and shatter a little on the cover only but it saved my phone and would gladly buy another. It will collect some dust and dirt around the edges where the adhesive strips are if you do not clean your phone often, highly recommend and this is the legit real deal screen protector!!!!Read more

I bought the screen protector in early November and placed it on my new phone around Thanksgiving. This morning I noticed something on the edge of the screen protector. I thought it was a small strand of hair. I lightly placed my finger across it and and found a small crack. I moved my finger across it again and the crack splintered and became bigger. Ugh, I’m bummed. I don’t know if the cold weather caused it, but now I need to contact Zagg for a replacement and in the interim order another screen protector. Ugh.Read more

For these screens and other brands too to crack quickly without dropping the phone on the note 9 phones is very frustrating. Having to pay shipping each time its replaced is costly. With another brands I used prior already been replaced 3 times also not dropping the phone. Now this one purchased in October cracked fast without dropping the phone too. Maybe its cause the rounded parts don’t go all under the case frame or its just poorly made. These screens cost way too much for not holding up long. Each screen always starts to crack from the rounded sides and inward. Not happy with these screens.Read more

So if there’s a scratch on the protector, that’s better than on the glass. However, this has been on the phone for 2 days, and there is a huge deep scratch on it already. The previous protector had been on the phone for over a year but it got some dirt on the edge and started to peel off, which is why I had to get a new one. This one is horrible because I can see the deep scratch whereas the previous one showed no scratches.Read more

If I could give this item negative stars I would. 1 star is too generous. I am on my second screen protector in less than a span of 2 months. It simply cracks when the wind blows…geez! I don’t drop nor am I hard on my phone. The 1st screen protector cracked mysteriously overnight within a few weeks. I’m not sure if it’s temperature or what. The 2nd one after they replaced the1st now shows cracks after about a month without any drops of my phone. It does stick pretty good but not all of the edges. You will have to increase the sensitivity of your device. But no big deal on that. Pretty easy to install. BUT WILL NOT LAST. My suggestion is that you find another screen protector. This one is a waste of my hard earned dollars. ******UPDATE****** The screen protector is cracking from normal usage!!!! Near the power button and volume button. Spend your money on a better protector. Wish I had just gotten a refund. :-(Read more
