This device is easy to use and very effective for my intended uses of light brush and weed trimming along the flagstone pathways around my house. No problems with trimming weeds very close to flagstone surfaces. I have had no problems of any kind during moderately heavy use during the past few weeks of the weed and brush rapid growth. Overall, this trimmer is excellent. It did the vine and hedge trimming perfectly for me. The only negative is that it has no trigger lock to keep it running, so you have to keep the trigger depressed. I know this is a safety feature, but my hand got tired while doing it. I would definitely recommend it.Read more

I didn’t know what to expect from such a small hedge trimmer, but this little thing is GREAT! I have a full sized corded trimmer that is just too awkward and heavy for me, so I thought I would give this a try. It did as good a job as the big one, with no cord to have to work around. The battery life is also fantastic! I wore out before it did.

Did you ever see some customer reviews and think, maybe those people were too hard on the tool and that was the problem? I did before buying this product. I had barely used when after hitting two small twigs, it seized up! These aren’t big sticks either, but that doesn’t matter. Obstacles are normal in the grass around a yard and you should just stop and pull the thing out. I took this apart (which wasn’t necessary) thinking there was something stuck between the blades. But it turned out that the metal for the blades is too cheap. The moving blade put a big nick into the lower blade (see photo). Turning the cam back and forth showed that the nick was preventing the blade from moving. I wouldn’t recommend these. However, I needed to finish trimming, so I got a tiny craft file so I could reach in there and filed out that nick. Then I went and filed a tiny reverse slope on all of the edges of the lower blade (they don’t need to come together that tight for grass!). Problem solved – finished the rest of the yard with no problems. The manufacturer might want to change the type of metal as well as take a few seconds to angle the lower blades edge a tiny bit so it doesn’t want to grab the upper blade when it hits an obstacle.Read more

Trimmer disassembles to individual parts to allow great versatility. Lithium-ion battery life is quite good. Additionally, the detachable battery allows using a second battery if additional run time is needed. Ability to trim is adequate for small branches. Grass trimmer is works well in tight areas. Pleased with the purchase!Read more

I used the grass cutter for about 5 minutes before the blades jammed. I had to take apart the blade housing and file down the nicks in the blades. FYI, I did not hit any rocks, bark or large branches. As a grass cutter, this cannot handle thick strands of grass, such as grass that puts out thick runners. It is not very powerful. After two times of it jamming, I returned it. I don’t know how the hedge trimmer would work as I didn’t try it. But, if the hedge trimmer blades are as faulty as the grass cutter blades, you might have a problem with them, too. I do not recommend this trimmer.Read more

With Summer fast approaching, I wanted to expand my gardening power tool collection and this seemed like the right first step. This is a professional piece of machinery, so do be aware of that when ordering. The first thing you’ll notice is the weight of this thing; it takes some time to use comfortably if you’re used to using everyday handheld trimmers. Once you get your arm strap adjusted properly, though, this is quick to pick up and tackle light to medium density brush in your yard. I was able to trim different species of plants with wiry branches, thick leaves, and all in-between. Thankfully this came fully charged and after trimming the front of my yard which has roughly 8 bushes, 1 small tree and 2 blooming bushes, I only used one of the power bars. I am so glad this finally came in as my yard life prior to this very quickly grow back and was essentially inaccessible unless I used a ladder and a lot of praying for my safety!Read more

These are great for getting into tight spaces around and between plants. They are very easy to handle with the flexibility of the blades. The battery makes them great for using anywhere in the garden without a power cord. I have the hedge shears which need a cord, but it is not a problem for trimming hedges and overgrown vines. I wanted the corded hedge shears because those with a battery were too heavy the handle. Both are great products.Read more
